ACCEPTING ADOPTION APPLICATIONS

Meet Coco!

This sweet but sassy girl is a 4 year old, spayed, Pug mix. We think she may have some French Bulldog in her.

Coco was surrendered to our rescue due to her being attacked continuously by one of the cats in the home. It was not an easy decision for her family, but they knew this was the right thing to do for Coco.

Coco does need a dental cleaning and we will also widen her narrow nostrils while she is under. This hasn't been scheduled yet, but it will be covered by the rescue. This could be scheduled either before or after she is adopted. We will be reaching out to our vet with available surgery dates.

Coco is up to date on all her vaccines and was heartworm tested and is negative. She is on heartworm prevention. She is also kennel trained for sleep and when you leave the home. She will cry a bit, but she stops after a short time.

Currently, Coco is in a foster home with a younger male pug and he is a bit more submissive than her. Coco would do best with a family that will not allow her to be too dominant and teach her the rules of the home. She doesn't necessarily need another dog in her home, as she would love to just cuddle with her humans.

We want to thank everyone that came out to visit us at the Headingley Holiday Market on Friday and Saturday! The event was so well organized and we absolutely loved our new location! We raised over $750 for the rescue! Lots of items sold, so we will need to work on re-stocking over the next few weeks if we can!

If you're taking the trip to the Scattered Seeds market at the Red River Exhibition Place this Friday or Saturday, take the extra 5 minute drive West once you're done and check out the Headingley Holiday Market!

Admission is only $2.00, there are a bunch of amazing local crafters, the canteen is stacked with some great grub and you get to see Lorraine and I.

We will have Boston Terrier and Pug Rescue of MB - Grey Cup Pool 2026 tickets available for sale. $2.00 each.

Our rescue is participating in these four holiday markets this year! We have applied for a couple more, but still waiting to hear back!

Our first holiday market event is coming up next Friday (October 16) and Saturday (October 17) at the Headingley Holiday Market!

We will have our usual crafts and our Boston Terrier and Pug Rescue of MB - Grey Cup Pool 2026 tickets available for sale too!

Celebrate 'National Pug Day' on Saturday, October 17th from 10am - 12pm at Devonshire Dog Park! Our friend Kendra and her Pug Evey are organizing this event!

Our rescue will be at the Headingley Holiday Market this day so won't be able to be on site to celebrate but we wanted to share this special day with everyone!
