It’s RVT Month, and our amazing team at Tuxedo Animal Hospital is ready to drop their debut album! 💿🐾

These rockstars do more than just look good on a cover! From monitoring anesthesia and assisting in surgery to running lab work, performing dentals, comforting nervous patients, educating clients, and being the ultimate teammates… our RVTs are the real MVPs of veterinary medicine! 🩺❤️

They bring the talent, the dedication, the compassion, and occasionally a little rockstar attitude! 😎🎶

Help us celebrate our incredible RVTs this month! We’re so lucky to have these talented humans on our team. ❤️

You may have noticed that over the past year, Dr. Buchanan was only working with us one day a week. Well, we’re very happy to announce that she is officially back with the Tuxedo team 3 days a week! 🥳🐾

While she was away, Dr. Buchanan was busy studying, learning and expanding her skills — and we’re so excited to now offer these additional services at Tuxedo Animal Hospital:

🐾 Pre- & Post-Rehabilitation Services & Consulting
Helping patients prepare for surgery and supporting their recovery afterward.

🪡 Acupuncture
For both orthopedic and neurologic conditions, as part of a comprehensive approach to patient care.

🌿 Integrative Medicine / Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine
A holistic approach that can be incorporated alongside conventional veterinary medicine

🚙 House call options available.

We’re thrilled to have Dr. Buchanan back with us more often and can’t wait to see how these expanded services help our patients live healthier, happier lives. ❤️

October is RVT Month, and we think our 5 RVTs are more than super stars 🌟

From the moment the scrubs go on, the transformation begins. 💥

They become:
🩺 Patient advocates
💉 Vaccine & medication experts
🩸 Lab & diagnostic wizards
🦷 Dental pros
😴 Anesthesia superheroes
🐾 Surgical sidekicks
📋 Treatment plan masterminds
❤️ Comfort champions
🧠 Critical thinkers
…and the people who somehow manage to keep everything moving when the day gets WILD.

Our RVTs do SO much more than hold the leash or “help the vet.” They use their knowledge, skills and experience every single day to provide incredible medical care to our patients and support our DVM team.

They are our medical partners, patient advocates, problem solvers, educators, anesthetists, surgical assistants, dental experts, laboratory pros, and so much more.

And behind every great veterinary team is an RVT doing approximately 47 things at once. 😂

So this month, we’re turning up the volume and giving our 5 incredible RVTs the recognition they deserve. 💙

Happy RVT Month! 🐾💙

We appreciate you more than you know!
