🎉🐾 October 2, 2026 — Tin rang the bell! 🐾🎉

Our sweet 8-year-old Golden Retriever, Tin, has officially finished his chemotherapy treatment for lymphoma. ❤️

And what makes this celebration even more special… Tin celebrated his 8th birthday on October 1st! 🎂🐶💛 What an incredible birthday gift — finishing chemo and getting to celebrate another year with our brave boy!

He has been such a brave boy through it all, and we couldn’t be more proud of him. Through the hard days, he kept showing us just how strong and loving he is.

Here’s to Tin, to brighter days ahead, and to lots more adventures, treats, birthday celebrations, and golden cuddles. 🐾💛

🎉 Happy 50th Birthday, Jen! 🎉

From this sweet little girl ➡️ to the incredible human we know and appreciate today! 💛
Jen celebrated her 50th birthday last week, and we couldn’t let this milestone pass without giving her some birthday love from the Bridgwater team! 🥳

There are so many things we could say about Jen and everything she does for our hospital, but the biggest thing is simply how much she cares about the people around her.

She’s always looking out for her team, making sure people take a break and actually step away for a moment, staying late when we need an extra hand, jumping in when someone is unwell, helping work through the latest scheduling puzzle, and being there when a client needs a little extra support. And those are just a few of the things she does!

So much of what Jen does happens quietly, behind the scenes, and without ever asking for recognition. She gives her time, energy, and support so freely, and she has a way of making the people around her feel cared for and supported.

We are incredibly lucky to have Jen as part of our leadership team and even luckier to have someone who cares so deeply about our hospital and the people in it 💛

Happy 50th, Jen! We hope you had the most wonderful birthday and know just how much you are appreciated. Here’s to 50 years of you and an amazing year ahead!🎂💐✨

🧡National Day for Truth and Reconciliation🧡

Yesterday, September 30th our Bridgwater team wore orange to show our support and honour this important day. We also supported the day by purchasing orange sprinkle donuts from Tim Hortons, with 100% of proceeds supporting Indigenous organizations across Canada 🍩🧡

A day to wear orange, learn, reflect, and come together in support of truth and reconciliation.

September 17, 2026 was a very special day for our sweet Baba. ❤️🐾
Baba is a 12-year-old girl who has been bravely fighting mammary gland adenocarcinoma. After everything she’s been through, today marks her last day of chemotherapy. 🎉
She has faced this journey with so much strength and grace, and we couldn’t be more proud of our girl. There have been hard days, but through it all, Baba has continued to be her sweet, loving, beautiful self.
Here’s to finishing chemo, to more cozy naps, sunny spots, treats, cuddles, and hopefully many more happy days together. ❤️
You did it, Baba. We love you so much. 🐱🎀✨

Meet Moose! 🐱🫎At 13 weeks of age, Moose is a big silly goose, who couldn't resist checking out the bottom of a jar, and got his head stuck! Despite his owners best efforts, this silly goose could not get loose and needed emergent assistance. She brought him to see Dr Shapera who promptly examined, sedated and was able to gently remove him from the jar. This little cutie did ameowzing and has made a full recovery! His mama said that when he got home that night it was like nothing happened. He's still a crazy curious cat, who loves to eat.
Spectacular job Dr Shapera and everyone involved! ✨️

We had the sweetest little Frenchie crew visit us for their very first vaccines! 🐶🐶🐶

These adorable pups were brave as can be and did such a great job for their first big vet visit. 🥹✨ From tiny paws to big personalities, we loved getting to meet each of them and help get them started on the road to a happy, healthy life!

🐾⛳️ Mutts & Masters Golf Tournament⛳️🐾

This month, we were proud to have team members Dr. Sra, Andrea, Stephanie, Brittney and Crystal represent our hospital by playing and volunteering at the Canadian Animal Blood Bank Mutts & Masters Golf Tournament! 🐶

It was a fantastic day spent connecting with fellow animal lovers, enjoying some friendly competition on the course, and supporting an incredible cause 💛

A big thank you to the Canadian Animal Blood Bank for hosting such a wonderful event, and to everyone who participated and supported this amazing cause. We’re grateful to be part of a community that’s dedicated to making a difference, both on and off the golf course! ⛳️🐾
