Rescue Siamese A not-for-profit, no-kill animal rescue for Siamese crossed cats in Manitoba. Rescue Siamese is a "no kill" rescue. Friday: 12 p.m. - 3 p.m.

Rescue is a non-profit, feline rescue that operates as a shelter with a strong foster program component, whereby animals are taken into foster homes, vetted and assessed for temperament and later put up for adoption at our shelter. Siamese crossed cats are accepted directly from owners, as strays or as transfers from another shelter or organization. Rescue Siamese is set up to give preference to t

he Siamese and Oriental breeds, and will also take in the domestic partners of "bonded" pairs. Oriental breeds may include Oriental Short Hair, Himalayan, Exotic Short Hair, Snowshoe, Birman, Balinese -most cats that have blue eyes and colour points. Hours of Operation:

Monday: 5:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Tues and Wed: closed
Thursday: 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. Saturday: 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Sunday: 12 p.m. - 3 p.m.

Help cats and win cash! 🤑

Rescue Siamese’s Cash Raffle fundraiser tickets are available now! Grab your tickets in support of our cat rescue efforts, and you could win one of three cash prizes:

- 1st Prize: $500
- 2nd Prize: $250
- 3rd Prize: $100

🎟️Tickets are just $2 each, or a full book of 10 tickets for $20. You can purchase them with cash in person at our shelter location (38 Barberry Road,) on our website www.rescuesiamese.com, or by etransfer to [email protected].

Please add a note that you are etransferring to purchase Cash Raffle tickets in the transfer memo, as well as how many you wish to buy. For all tickets purchased online, one of our volunteers will fill out the physical tickets with your information and send you a photo of your ticket stubs within a few days of purchase.

We will also have tickets available at our Fall BBQ, Open House & Mini Market which takes place in our parking lot at 38 Barberry Road on Sunday, September 20th from 11am-3pm 🍁

The draw for the lucky winners will take place on October 4th, 2026 at 5pm at the Rescue Siamese Shelter (38 Barberry Road) and will be live-streamed via our page!

Please note that in line with MB provincial lottery regulations, you must be a Manitoba resident 18 years of age or older to purchase Cash Raffle tickets. If your ticket is drawn and you are not a resident of Manitoba or of legal age - we will not be able to award you a prize, there will be no refund, and we will re-draw for a new winner.

Can you or your business donate a prize for Rescue Siamese’s upcoming Silent Auctions? We have 2 fundraising events coming up over the next few months where we will have a Silent Auction table, but our prize supply is almost non-existent after our huge 30th Anniversary celebration earlier this Spring.

If you can donate new items, gift certificates, etc that we could use in our prize baskets to help raise money and make our events extra awesome, the RS kitties would sure appreciate the support 😻🙏🏻

Happy Tails, Doffy! 💕

This beautiful and sweet girl, formerly known as Darling and now happily known as Doffy, came into our care from Thompson a couple of years ago. She patiently waited for the day her forever person would finally find her.

It was hard for our volunteers to understand how this lovely girl could have waited so long. Doffy quickly became a favourite at the shelter, charming everyone with her sweet nature and gentle personality.

And then, finally, this summer, the wait was over. Doffy and her person found one another.

Doffy is absolutely loving being the only animal in her new home, where she gets to soak up all the love and attention. She enjoys spending her days with her human, watching the world go by from the window and finding the perfect sunny spot to bathe in the sunshine.

She loves her naps, playing on her scratching post, and all the little comforts of home. And perhaps best of all, she settled in so quickly, as though she knew right away that she had finally found where she belonged.

After waiting so patiently, this sweet girl finally has her forever home, her very own person, and all the love she deserves.

Happy Tails, Doffy! We couldn't be happier that your long wait brought you to the perfect forever home. 💕

THANK YOU SO MUCH!

The final donation tally for our August ‘Drive to $20 000’ fundraising campaign is….$15 298!

With your support, we were able to raise 76% of our goal ❤️

The truth is that funds will still be quite tight for a while due to the 24% shortfall…and we need donations to keep coming in steady in order to keep caring for cats in our community. But, we do look at the bright side as well and we’re so very full of gratitude for all of the generous donations that you all sent our way! $15 298 is an amazing gift and will definitely help us to pay down some of our vet bills. THANK YOU! 😻

🚨LAST CALL FOR OUR ‘DRIVE TO $20 000’! WE NEED YOUR HELP!🚨

Pictured here are Finch, Forrest and Twilight - three cats who are at different points in their journeys with us, but each one has needed veterinary care over the last month.

Finch was pulled from our shelter location and has been in long-term foster while navigating a diagnosis of HCM (hypertrophic cardiomyopathy); and recently needed an echocardiogram to check on his heart. We’re happy to report that he is stable and now available for adoption!

Forrest is in foster care and recently had dental cleaning and surgery done. He is also on special weight-loss food to help him get to a healthier weight, and if everything continues to go well, he should be ready for adoption soon!

Twilight recently needed an emergency trip to the vet, as the eye infection/swelling she had been treated for earlier this year had unfortunately returned. She is now receiving medicated eye drops multiple times a day as she continues to recover.

These are just three of the cats whose veterinary care has contributed to the bills we are working to pay down.

The final tally for donations over the month of August comes to $13 640! While we didn’t quite make it to our $20 000 goal…it’s not TOO terribly far off…
So let’s make one last push to get us there! Can you please help by donating today, or by sharing our post so that we reach as many people as possible?! 🙏🏻

Yay! Rescue Siamese is a featured cat rescue at Meow Mania Expo on September 27th, and we couldn’t be more excited!!

We’ll have adorable adoptable cats on site, cute kitty-themed merchandise, and tasty baking for sale to raise funds for our ongoing rescue efforts. You best believe we’ll all be doing lots of shopping with the spectacular list of vendors on site, too! 😻
