Rescue Siamese A not-for-profit, no-kill animal rescue for Siamese crossed cats in Manitoba. Rescue Siamese is a "no kill" rescue. Friday: 12 p.m. - 3 p.m.

Rescue is a non-profit, feline rescue that operates as a shelter with a strong foster program component, whereby animals are taken into foster homes, vetted and assessed for temperament and later put up for adoption at our shelter. Siamese crossed cats are accepted directly from owners, as strays or as transfers from another shelter or organization. Rescue Siamese is set up to give preference to t

he Siamese and Oriental breeds, and will also take in the domestic partners of "bonded" pairs. Oriental breeds may include Oriental Short Hair, Himalayan, Exotic Short Hair, Snowshoe, Birman, Balinese -most cats that have blue eyes and colour points. Hours of Operation:

Monday: 5:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Tues and Wed: closed
Thursday: 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. Saturday: 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Sunday: 12 p.m. - 3 p.m.

We’re set up at Pet Valu Taylor today until 3pm for an exciting afternoon of ‘Sand Dollar’ Clay Paw crafts and Charity Dog Washes. Bring your pet down to make a sweet keepsake from their paw print for $5, or let the Dog Wash volunteers give your pup a good scrubbing for a minimum donation of $15 to the Pet Appreciation Month fundraiser. Don’t forget that it’s still Pet Appreciation Month at Pet Valu! 😺 Check out the schedules here to see how you can support Rescue Siamese by participating in fundraising events at Pet Valu Sage Creek, Pet Valu Meadowood and Pet Valu Taylor until the end of June.

This weekend, bring your dirty dogs out for a spa day! The volunteers at each store will get your canine pal squeaky clean in no time, for just a $15 minimum donation.

Pet Valu Sage Creek is running their Charity Dog wash both Saturday June 20th AND Sunday June 21st from 11am-3pm, and they’re also including charity nail trims in the fundraiser!

Pet Valu Meadowood will have their Charity Dog Wash up and running on Sunday June 21st from 11am-3pm, and you can meet their latest Rescue Siamese adoptable kitten on-site, James, too!

Pet Valu Taylor’s Charity Dog Wash runs Saturday June 20th from 11am-3pm, and due to popular demand they’re also bringing back their ‘Sand Dollar’ clay paw print keepsakes. Come visit our volunteer on site who will be happy to help you with your clay paw craft! Maybe adoptable Clove will steal your heart during your visit…don’t forget to say hello to her, just in case.

50% of all funds raised at all 3 stores will be donated to Rescue Siamese. ❤️ Let’s make it a hugely successful month and have a little fun while we support rescue animals in our community!

Ursula is a sweet young girl looking for a forever home that will appreciate her for who she is and be committed to meeting her needs. Ursula first came into our care as a kitten after being rescued from Thompson. She was adopted and recently returned through no fault of her own. Her previous family cared about her very much, but ultimately felt they were not the best match for her ongoing digestive sensitivities.

Ursula is a calm, gentle cat who enjoys a peaceful lifestyle and the comforts of home. She likes having a predictable routine and a quiet place to relax. While she may take a little time to settle into a new environment, she enjoys being part of the family and is looking for her forever home.

Ursula has a sensitive stomach and is prone to vomiting, so she will need a home that is committed to managing her dietary needs. She should remain on a digestive-friendly diet, such as Royal Canin Digestive Care or another high-quality food recommended by her veterinarian. Consistency is important, and treats are not recommended.

Because of her sensitive nature, Ursula would do best in a calm home without children or dogs, where she can be the priority and enjoy a peaceful environment. Her ideal family will understand that some cats require a little extra care and will be happy to provide the stability and commitment she needs to thrive.
