As tears roll down my face,
I know you're in a better place.
I close my eyes to see your face,

Little did I know she gave her heart away piece by piece.
Never caring the cost to herself, just giving.
In the giving she was living.
Now her heart is spent.
We keep the gift, but lose the giver.
For now she's going away, on another adventure.
She cannot stay.
The pieces we hold, that she has given.
We can return to her, when we get to Heaven.
