As temperatures start to drop, you may be wondering how long your dog should spend outdoors. The answer depends on factors like their size, coat type, and age. Keep an eye out for signs they're getting too cold, such as slowing down, shivering, or lifting their paws. When you notice these cues, it's time to head inside and warm up.

Check out our Cold Weather Lookbook for more expert tips on keeping your pet safe and comfortable this season. 🐾❄️

🐾 FILL THE BOWLS: THE 240 LB KIBBLE DRIVE CHALLENGE! 🐾

This Thanksgiving weekend, we’re launching our Thanksgiving Kibble Drive Challenge at Pet Valu Taylor, and we need YOUR help to hit a huge goal: collecting 240 lbs of dry cat and dog food! 🐶🐱

All donations will go directly to support the amazing folks at Wayward Whiskers and Rescue Siamese to make sure every rescue pet gets a full belly.

Here’s how easy it is to participate:
🗓️ WHEN: This weekend, October 10th – 11th
📍 WHERE: Pet Valu Taylor (1134 Taylor Ave, Winnipeg)
🛍️ WHAT TO DO: Simply drop by, grab and purchase a bag of dry cat or dog food off our shelves, and donate it directly to the drive on your way out!

Whether you pick up a 5lb bag or a 30lb heavyweight, every single bag purchased gets us closer to our 240lb goal. Let’s show these rescues some massive love and make this Thanksgiving a feast to remember for pets in need!

Can we smash our goal by Sunday? Challenge accepted! 💪❤️
