Cheeky decided to serve as Cuda's personal stool, I guess. And he did, in fact, sit on her at one point! She did not move 😂

Not only did I finally get the opportunity to do my first ever modified continental today, it was also a PINK continental!! It was a bit of a surprise request, and Inlast saw Julia in December.

Overall, I'm pretty happy with how it turned out! There is room for growth and fine tuning, but I'm looking forward to opportunity number 2.

Little baby Tillie the came in for her first grooming experience!

Not only has Tillie's owner nurtured her natural confidence, but has already introduced her to some of the sensations that go along with grooming! She also had her housemate, Levi with her. Did she still have puppy moments? Of course! But it's our job as professional groomers to guide dogs through those feelings.

With all that in place, Tillie had a fantastic first experience! Post-groom, Tillie found some toys and had a bit of play time, before having a big nap while Levi finished up his appointment.

But, that's just his way of telling me where he's sore.

So...

Senior dogs have a special place in my heart, and there are a LOT of exceptions to their behavior during grooming as it is often due to pain or other medical conditions.

I hope someone does the same for me when I'm old and ouchie 🩷
