🌻 POPPY UPDATE 🌻

We wanted to share for those who have supported us thus far a positive update on Poppy❤️

Despite everything she has been through, Poppy is still excited about life. She still has that spark in her eyes, she still gets excited, and she still wants to experience the world around her. As long as Poppy is showing us that she’s ready to keep fighting, we want to fight right alongside her. 🐾💛

That’s why we truly believe there is still hope for Poppy. Our goal is to give her the chance she deserves—to keep doing the things she loves and to see just how far this brave girl can go. 🌻

We also want to take a moment to say THANK YOU to every single person who has shared Poppy’s story, donated, sent messages, checked in, or supported her in any way. Your kindness has meant more than we can put into words. 🥹❤️

Every share helps. Every donation helps. Every bit of encouragement helps.

Poppy isn’t ready to give up—and neither are we. 🐶💛

💕 HELP US SUPPORT POPPY 💕🐾

One of our very own daycare family members needs our help. 🥺

Poppy, also known as Princess Poppy Purple Lightening Strike, is the sweet 2.5-year-old Beagle belonging to our groomer, Brennly. Poppy was rescued as a puppy after spending the first 8 months of her life in an apartment, and she has since become a very loved member of the family. ❤️

Poppy has been diagnosed with Stage 5 Intervertebral Disc Disease (IVDD) and is currently paralyzed in her back end. She needs spinal decompression surgery at the veterinary college in Saskatoon for a chance at walking again.

The surgery, along with imaging, hospitalization and aftercare, is expected to cost $15,000–$20,000. This is an enormous expense for any family, so we are asking our daycare community to come together and help Poppy get the chance she deserves. 🐶💗

✨ HOW YOU CAN HELP:
🐾 Donate if you’re able — every little bit helps
🐾 Share this post with your friends & family
🐾 Share Poppy’s GoFundMe to help spread the word
🐾 Keep Poppy and the Horsman family in your thoughts

We know how much our daycare community loves their dogs, and we’re hoping we can show Poppy and her family just how loved they are. ❤️

🎀 Help us give this sweet girl a chance. 🎀

Each of our locations will have cash options to donate as well as taking donations via card. Thank you for your time on reading this post 💗

Hi Sprockett's Family and Followers!

If you can help by sharing this, we would appreciate it!!

Grooming by Brennly has been a member of our Thomas Ave team for years. Poppy is a regular at Sprockett's and we are all devastated by this sudden news.

Thank you ❤️
