Grant Park Animal Hospital is home to Manitoba’s only human-grade CT scanner for pets. Since installing this state-of-the-art machine in our clinic, we’ve performed hundreds of scans for animals of all kinds, from all across the province and beyond.

Computed tomography allows us to diagnose pathology that cannot be detected using more conventional modalities. CT also allows us to prepare for surgery by elucidating the extent of disease requiring excision. This technology has truly proven to be a game changer for Manitoba’s pets and the people who love them.

Is your pet in need of a CT scan? Ask your veterinarian for a referral to Grant Park Animal Hospital. CT appointments can often be scheduled with very short notice, all our scans are read by boarded veterinary radiologists, and reports usually arrive in less than 72 hours.

Hey!

Grant Park Animal Hospital is looking to fill multiple customer service representative positions at our busy small animal clinic.

As the first point of contact for our clients and their pets, our reception team members play an essential role in creating a welcoming experience while helping the hospital run smoothly.

Responsibilities:

Greet clients and their pets with a warm, professional attitude.
Es**rt patients and their owners to examination rooms.
Answer incoming phone calls and assist clients with appointments, questions, and requests.
Manage and respond to emails in a timely and professional manner.
Schedule appointments and maintain accurate client records.
Support the veterinary team with general administrative duties.
Help ensure a positive experience for every client and patient who visits our hospital.

What We're Looking For:

The ideal candidate is:
Friendly, approachable, and genuinely enjoys working with people.
Warm, compassionate, and able to make clients feel welcome.
Outgoing with excellent communication and customer service skills.
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a very busy environment.
Comfortable working as part of a collaborative team.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience working in a veterinary hospital is strongly preferred.
Experience in a medical, dental, or other healthcare setting will also be considered.
Familiarity with appointment scheduling, client communication, and general office administration is an asset.

We at are super excited for the premiere- TONIGHT- of Netflix’s new reboot of Little House on the Prairie! That’s because a bunch of our patients are actors in the series! Jericho (pictured in the poster), Stiles, and Solo all share the role of Jack, the Ingalls family’s beloved dog. And our patient Elvis the Belgian hare will also appear as “wild rabbit in establishing shot.”

We’re very proud of these talented local animal actors and can’t wait to see them doing what they do best on the small screen!

The Grant Park Animal Hospital team is back up in one of our favourite places, Churchill Manitoba.
We’ve been busy all week tending to patients in the men’s locker room in the town complex, our usual stomping grounds. At day’s end, we enjoy a refreshing stroll along the shore of Hudson Bay, breathing in the cool and salty breeze, and swatting away two to three thousand voracious mosquitoes. Fortunately the insects have been the only creatures biting us during our visits to the beach 🐻‍❄️… so far.
Back at it tomorrow morning!

Hello from Prince Edward Island! Several of our doctors have spent the past week in beautiful Charlottetown, PEI attending the 2026 Canadian Veterinary Medical Association National Convention. This annual conference is a terrific way for Canadian veterinarians to stay current on all the latest trends, treatments, and techniques in our profession, ensuring that your pets have access to the most up to date and cutting edge care available. The Convention also provides vets with an opportunity to visit beautiful destinations all across the country and connect with colleagues and friends from coast to coast. We can’t wait to hear all the pearls of wisdom Drs. Carey, White, Bell, and Dyck have accrued during their time out east! Safe travels home docs!
