As the school year draws to a close and lake life, cottages and destinations further afield beckon, we welcome more kitties into the mix. This is Leo who is truly living his best life. At breakfast and dinner we have a very specific routine. After opening/closing the catio it’s treat scavenger hunt: one on the kitchen table, one in the matchstick holder on the mantle, one on top of the old books, one on the corner of the couch, one on the cat perch, two in the catio. Then it’s wet food and cuddles on the couch. When he’s done purring and dribbling we take our neighbourhood watch duties very seriously. Those squirrels aren’t gonna police themselves. Cats are wonderful weirdos. What are some of your kitties’ unique routines?

This is George a sweet, quiet introverted tuxedo, who is every bit the opposite of his sibling mayhem (as the name would suggest) prefers to race around the house telling other cats to get off his lawn. It’s the most rewarding part of the job when the shy guys decide that your lap is for naps. Happy national cat day everyone. Hope it’s filled with kitty cuddles.
