📢Change to class times: Our 3:00pm Saturday conformation class has been discontinued. We will continue to offer conformation classes starting at 4:00pm, 5:00pm, and 6:00pm on Saturdays moving forward.
**Note that there are select dates when classes will be unavailable due to shows**

🔑 KEY TO SUCCESS 🔑Are you paying your dog appropriately for their work?

As we work toward a trial environment, it's important to change our dog's expectation of when the reward will be available and what the reward will consist of. I put different levels of rewards in their Zen bowl depending on how long I expect my dog to work and the level of complexity (including pressure).

In practice, the reward might be Roll Over, Smack, and/or dehydrated treats. At matches and trials, the payout is much larger. They are under more pressure at a trial and deserve a much larger reward.

Changing the reward expectation takes time. Make sure you introduce the Zen bowl or another reward system off your body well before you start trialing.
