🐕‍🦺✨ The Giant German Shepherd Lost Half Her Weight After Deshedding! 😂🖤

This beautiful giant German Shepherd had her FIRST deshedding experience ever! 🐾😍

And let me tell you… it was a BIG job! 😳💨

It literally took 2 sessions to get everything done. ✂️🪮

During the first session, some of her coat had been matted and tightly packed for a long time, so we had to carefully shave those areas first. Then came about an hour of brushing to get all that excessive undercoat out! 🪮💥🐕‍🦺

Shaving + brushing that much coat is already a LOT for a giant dog in one session. ❤️ So I decided to save the bath for another day and let her have a nice break. 🥰

Then came session two! 🛁✨
Bath + deshedding + blow-dry = ANOTHER TON of hair! 😱💨🪮

And just like that… this girl got a whole new look! ✨🐕‍🦺👑 She looks lighter, fluffier, fresher, and SO much happier! 🥹❤️

This cute 4month old Goldendoodle baby completely stole my heart. 🥹💛

With puppies, you have to be extra gentle and patient, introducing them to this whole new grooming experience. Their first grooming experience can have a profound impact on how they feel about grooming in the future.

This little baby was an absolute treasure—so calm and quiet. I started the blow dryer on the lowest setting, watched how he reacted, then slowly turned it up

During the grooming, I pick him up very gently, pet him from time to time, and talk to him, introducing what I’m going to do next. Hahaha, I know it sounds silly. But he’s listening and understanding.. He did fantastic! ❤️

This blind and deaf senior pup enjoyed a shorter summer cut for easier maintenance and everyday comfort. As dogs get older, grooming is about more than appearance-it's about helping them feel clean, comfortable, and cared for.

15 yrso senior dog finally feeling fresh 💕🌸

This sweet had likely been uncomfortable for quite some time. 😔 Severe mats can pull on the skin, restrict movement, trap moisture, and even hide wounds and skin issues. 🩹

During grooming, we uncovered irritation and concerns hidden beneath the coat. Removing the mats helped this pup feel lighter, cleaner, and more comfortable. ❤️
🐶 Senior dogs need extra grooming care. Regular maintenance can prevent painful matting and help spot health concerns earlier.
💡 If brushing becomes difficult or you can’t get a comb through the coat, don’t wait. Early grooming is usually easier, safer, and much more comfortable for your pet.
