If your dog gets...

while eating a chicken-based kibble, it’s easy to point the finger at chicken but there may be more to the story.

Kibble can contain multiple proteins, starches, fats, flavourings, preservatives, vitamin and mineral premixes, and other ingredients, making it difficult to know exactly what your dog may be reacting to.

That’s one reason we love keeping things simple. With raw feeding, you can see the real, recognizable ingredients going into your dog’s bowl and have more control over what you’re feeding.

Some dogs thought to be sensitive to chicken may tolerate fresh, minimally processed chicken just fine. A true food allergy is something to discuss with your veterinarian and properly investigate rather than assuming one ingredient is the culprit.
