Dear friends/family/followers,

Our sweet 2.5 year old beagle Poppy aka Princess Poppy Purple Lightening Strike has been diagnosed with stage 5 Intravertabre disc disease or IVDD. She is currently paralyzed in her back end and requires spinal decompression surgery at the veterinary college in Saskatoon for any hope of walking again. Unfortunately, the cost of the surgery can range from $15,000-$20,000 with imaging, hospitalization and aftercare, an expense our little family just cannot cover on our own.
Poppy joined our family in summer of 2023 after being rescued from an apartment where she was crated and living in her own excrement at 8 months old. No one knows how long she had been living that way. She came with zero training, zero house manners but she was sweet and snuggly and won the hearts of everyone, especially her 50lb dog brother pipsqueak who really doesn’t care for other dogs. Over the last year and a half with poppy, she has come so far and the thought of losing her before her 3 rd birthday is devastating. We have a limited amount of time to reach this incredibly enormous goal but I could t forgive myself if we didn’t at least try.

Sincerely,
Brennly, Tyler, Callan, Pipsqueak and Wesley Stripes

Made a new friend today! Marlie was rescued by RAMS out in Anola and adopted by clients of mine. I wasn’t sure how this would go, but she is literally flawless. So sweet, so perfect for everything. What a fun and happy dog, these people really lucked out! We now have her on a 6 week schedule to maintain her new look
