For reasons I still don’t fully understand, people look at a dog groomer and think:

“Yes. This is the person I should tell absolutely everything.”

And they do.

The grooming table has become a confession booth.

We’ve heard stories that would make Netflix executives fight over the rights.

We’ve heard things that would have most HR departments on life support.

We’ve heard things that left us staring into the distance for a solid minute after the client left.

And don’t worry…

Not because we don’t remember them.

But because being someone’s safe space is part of the job.

The only problem is you can’t drop the most diabolical plot twist I’ve ever heard and then disappear for 8 weeks.
