Layla has been with us since the very beginning, which means that we’ve had the absolute privilege of watching her grow from a fresh little foster pup into the bold, beautiful (and slightly dramatic) girl she is today.

We always know when she’s arrived in the morning… we can hear her from inside the building while she’s still in the car! The full-body wiggle, the excitement, the “I simply cannot contain myself” energy- it’s got all four paws leaving the ground most days. A true grand entrance, every single morning.

She’s spunky, playful, just the right amount of sassy, and delivers a top-tier judgemental side eye that keeps us laughing daily. But underneath all that personality is a fiercely loyal heart; not just for her canine friends, but for her people too.

Once Layla considers you part of her pack, you’re in for life. And it goes without saying, we’re incredibly proud to be OG members of Miss Layla’s pack 💞

We are so saddened to share that our sweet friend Leah recently crossed the rainbow bridge.

Leah was one of those dogs who made everything feel a little lighter. She was always smiling, with a sparkle in her eye that was pure joy.

She LOVED the water. Pool, hose, splash pad - it didn’t matter, she was the first one in every single time, fully committed to getting as soaked as possible as quickly as possible. She was always happy, but she was absolutely happiest when she was splashing around.

Easy, content, and so full of love. Leah had a way of reminding us not to take life so seriously, and to pause and enjoy the smallest moments. We miss her terribly already.

We’ll be thinking of you every time the water starts running, sweet girl. 💛

This long-bodied legend is our pal Buckley, and we are delighted to be able to introduce him as our DOTM! He was already a day camp pro before joining us, but he’s absolutely thrived since becoming part of our crew. His mom has shared how happy and comfortable he seems here, and nothing makes us smile more than seeing him so relaxed, cuddly, and confident with his friends.

Buckley’s signature move is his irresistible puppy dog eyes, we genuinely think he could convince anyone of anything when he turns them on. No one stands a chance when he approaches us with those big brown eyes and a gentle paw to the leg, seriously how can we resist!?

When he’s not working the room, he’s flying through it, Buckley lives for a good zoomie session! Once he’s burned off that speed, you’ll find him setting up camp on a cozy blanket with his buddies, resting his head on his friend of choice, settling in for the sweetest little snuggle session. Zoom hard, cuddle harder- that’s Buckley’s way and we are here for it.

Thanks for warming our hearts and making us smile daily Buck, we love you! 💚

Ladies and gentlemen, please rise for Jackie. A fabulous 17-year-old queen who has truly perfected the art of taking it easy. She spends her days snoozing peacefully, often curled into the most perfect little donut on the bed of her choosing. If space allows, she’ll even graciously share her prime nap real estate, proving she is as kind as she is adorable. Every now and then, she’ll treat us to a sweet little trot around the room, just to remind everyone who’s still in charge.
When the weather is just right, Jackie enjoys her other favourite pastime: supervising the side yard after a thorough inspection sniff. She loves being placed at the top of a slide or play structure so she can oversee the action from the best vantage point.

She may not have puppy energy anymore, but don’t be fooled. The moment a peanut butter lick mat appears, Jackie moves with purpose, proving that some things (like snack motivation) only get stronger with age. You are an icon Jackie and we absolutely adore you! ✨💞
