Hi everyone, it has come to our ‼️attention‼️unfortunately someone is misrepresenting themselves as taking entries for the horsepower car show!

The Horsepower car show DOES NOT accept early entries! Please DO NOT send any information or payments to any profiles advertising for our car show.

This is very unfortunate as we are a non-profit club raising money to help keep our horse showing affordable to the youth and adults of Windsor-Essex County.

We have reported such page that has been claiming they are taking entries. Please if anyone has any questions please reach out the Southern Ontario Trail Riders Club page or via email at [email protected]

A reminder that our next Southern Ontario Trail Riders Club monthly meeting is coming up this Tuesday, September 1!

Our meetings are held on the first Tuesday of every month and are a great opportunity to stay up to date on what’s happening around the club, upcoming events, and plans as we head toward the end of our 2026 season.

We’re excited to announce that pony rides are being added to the Horsepower Car Show this year! 🎉

Bring the whole family and let the little ones take a break from checking out the cars for a fun ride with some four-legged friends! 🐎❤️

Spectators enter for FREE! Donations are appreciated, but not expected! Make sure to drop by our SOTC Table to learn more about who WE are and what we do🩵

📣 AUGUST 23 SHOW UPDATE

After careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to cancel our August 23 horse show.

Due to unforeseen volunteer and availability challenges, we do not have the number of hands needed to safely and successfully run both pens and provide the quality show experience we expect at SOTC.

We know this is disappointing, and it was not a decision made lightly. Our club and shows rely heavily on our board members and volunteers, and ultimately, we need to ensure we have the appropriate support in place to run our events safely and smoothly.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support of SOTC. 💚🐴

🐴✨ Thank You, Competitors! ✨🐴

A huge thank you to all of the wonderful competitors who came out to our English Hunter/Jumper Horse Show at the Southern Ontario Trail Riders Club! 🏇💙

Your hard work, dedication, sportsmanship, and love for your horses made the day so special. We were thrilled to see so many riders, horses, families, coaches, and supporters come together to enjoy a great day of competition and fun!

Congratulations to everyone who participated — whether you went home with a ribbon or simply had a great ride, you should be proud of your accomplishments! 🏆👏

We truly appreciate you choosing to spend your day with us and helping make our show such a success. We hope to see all of you back in the ring again soon! 🐎💫
