We focus a lot around cats and dogs in our posts, as they make up most of our patients, however we can't leave out the little guys. In this post you'll learn a little bit about avian husbandry, and although not fully inclusive, it contains a lot of great information to keep in mind. Does your bird need to have a check up? If so, give us a shout and Dr. House or Dr. Horsman and the team, would love to meet them. Do you have a bird that already comes here?? Well then share a pic below, we know you're out there!

These cool geese just wanted to let you know that we'll be closed Monday October 12th for Thanksgiving 🦃 and will re-open Tuesday October 13th with regular business hours. They also wanted me to let you know that they think everyone should skip eating their cousins, the turkey, and opt for an alternative option 😂

As always, we also want to remind you that although it may be tempting to share some of that delicious thanksgiving meal with your pet, keep in mind that some foods can cause digestive upset and should be avoided. If you want to share, keep to small amounts of pet safe fruits and vegetables or small amounts of lean meat. Do not give skin, bones, or fat.

We hope everyone has a lovely weekend to spend with family and friends

Subtle changes can be early signs of pain:
• Less play or energy, and more sleep
• Hesitation on stairs or jumping
• Eating less or chewing differently
• Licking or grooming one area often
