🙌🏼 What I’ve been saying all along…

The truth is, we believe many veterinarians and veterinary technicians share these same concerns and opinions. Unfortunately, far too many have been silenced, intimidated, or afraid to speak openly because of the power and influence of those in positions of authority.

What she wrote was honest, courageous, and desperately needed. People should not be afraid to speak the truth about their experiences.

It’s time for veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and the entire veterinary community to stand together. We cannot continue allowing fear, intimidation, and bullying to silence people.

When good people stay silent, nothing changes. It’s time to stand up, speak out, and demand accountability.

Three little dogs. Three completely different stories. One enormous piece of my heart. ❤️🐾

And they called it puppy love… ♾️❤️

But anyone who has ever truly loved an animal knows… it’s so much more than that.

These three little souls aren’t “just dogs.” They are my family. They’ve been beside me through some of life’s happiest moments and some of the hardest chapters. They’ve been my comfort, my reason to smile on tough days, and a reminder that love is one of the most powerful things we can give. ❤️

They’ve also taught me that love isn’t always easy.

Sometimes love means sleepless nights, worrying, researching, advocating, expensive vet bills, making hard decisions, and fighting for someone who can’t speak for themselves… because they’re worth it. 🥹

Each of them has their own story…

🐾 Lini - my little warrior… came into my life as a rescue when he was 4 years old. I’ll never know everything he went through before he found me, but I do know he deserved a safe place to land and a lifetime of love. ❤️ He later lost his eye and then fought through a scary battle with pancreatitis that almost took him from me. He has shown me just how strong and resilient these tiny souls can be.

🐾 Tija - my sensitive little soul… reminds me every day that fear doesn’t mean weakness. Some hearts just need more patience, understanding, and someone who believes in them. Watching her learn, grow, and trust has been one of the most rewarding journeys.

🐾 Kiwi - my little fighter from the very beginning… brought more worry, vet visits, and unexpected challenges than I ever imagined. But she has shown me that every sleepless night, every worry, and every sacrifice is worth it when it’s for someone you love.

People say we rescue dogs… but I truly believe they rescue us right back. ❤️

They are my little shadows. My comfort. My chaos. My joy. My heart walking around outside my body. 🥹

We’re a package deal… and I wouldn’t have it any other way. 🫶🏼🐾❤️

𝐓𝐨 𝐦𝐲 𝐟𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝐝𝐨𝐠 𝐦𝐨𝐦𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐌𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫’𝐬 𝐃𝐚𝐲 🤍🐾

Maybe we didn’t give birth to human babies, but we still love deeply, nurture endlessly, worry constantly, and would do absolutely anything for our dogs. 💕 We wake up early for them, spend half our paychecks on them 💸, celebrate their little wins 🎉, and feel their pain like it’s our own.

Being a dog mom means muddy paw prints 🐾, fur on everything, vet anxiety 😅, bedtime cuddles 🛏️, and a bond that people don’t fully understand unless they’ve felt it too.

So today, I’m celebrating the love, loyalty, comfort, and purpose my dogs bring into my life every single day. 🐶❤️ They may not call me “mom,” but they sure make me feel like one.
