🙌🏼 What I’ve been saying all along…

The truth is, we believe many veterinarians and veterinary technicians share these same concerns and opinions. Unfortunately, far too many have been silenced, intimidated, or afraid to speak openly because of the power and influence of those in positions of authority.

What she wrote was honest, courageous, and desperately needed. People should not be afraid to speak the truth about their experiences.

It’s time for veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and the entire veterinary community to stand together. We cannot continue allowing fear, intimidation, and bullying to silence people.

When good people stay silent, nothing changes. It’s time to stand up, speak out, and demand accountability.

Three little dogs. Three completely different stories. One enormous piece of my heart. ❤️🐾

And they called it puppy love… ♾️❤️

But anyone who has ever truly loved an animal knows… it’s so much more than that.

These three little souls aren’t “just dogs.” They are my family. They’ve been beside me through some of life’s happiest moments and some of the hardest chapters. They’ve been my comfort, my reason to smile on tough days, and a reminder that love is one of the most powerful things we can give. ❤️

They’ve also taught me that love isn’t always easy.

Sometimes love means sleepless nights, worrying, researching, advocating, expensive vet bills, making hard decisions, and fighting for someone who can’t speak for themselves… because they’re worth it. 🥹

Each of them has their own story…

🐾 Lini - my little warrior… came into my life as a rescue when he was 4 years old. I’ll never know everything he went through before he found me, but I do know he deserved a safe place to land and a lifetime of love. ❤️ He later lost his eye and then fought through a scary battle with pancreatitis that almost took him from me. He has shown me just how strong and resilient these tiny souls can be.

🐾 Tija - my sensitive little soul… reminds me every day that fear doesn’t mean weakness. Some hearts just need more patience, understanding, and someone who believes in them. Watching her learn, grow, and trust has been one of the most rewarding journeys.

🐾 Kiwi - my little fighter from the very beginning… brought more worry, vet visits, and unexpected challenges than I ever imagined. But she has shown me that every sleepless night, every worry, and every sacrifice is worth it when it’s for someone you love.

People say we rescue dogs… but I truly believe they rescue us right back. ❤️

They are my little shadows. My comfort. My chaos. My joy. My heart walking around outside my body. 🥹

We’re a package deal… and I wouldn’t have it any other way. 🫶🏼🐾❤️

Maybe we didn’t give birth to human babies, but we still love deeply, nurture endlessly, worry constantly, and would do absolutely anything for our dogs. 💕 We wake up early for them, spend half our paychecks on them 💸, celebrate their little wins 🎉, and feel their pain like it’s our own.

Being a dog mom means muddy paw prints 🐾, fur on everything, vet anxiety 😅, bedtime cuddles 🛏️, and a bond that people don’t fully understand unless they’ve felt it too.

So today, I’m celebrating the love, loyalty, comfort, and purpose my dogs bring into my life every single day. 🐶❤️ They may not call me “mom,” but they sure make me feel like one.

Local Chihuahua celebrates another year of being spoiled, entitled, and aggressively unemployed…and the cutest little leprechaun ever!! 🍀

🤔 Sometimes I wonder why I work full time…

…and then I remember I have 𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙚𝙚 𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙝𝙪𝙖𝙝𝙪𝙖𝙨 𝙩𝙤 𝙨𝙪𝙥𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩. 🐾

None of them have jobs.
Not one apology between them.

Meanwhile I’m out here working full time, skipping coffees ☕️ and questioning my life choices… all for this 𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐲 𝐥𝐞𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐮𝐧 (𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬) 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐬 𝐬𝐡𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐚 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐟𝐮𝐧𝐝, and has never once offered to split the heating bill.

𝗛𝗲𝗿 𝗱𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗱𝗲𝘀:
🍀 gourmet meals
🍀 multiple luxury nap rotations
🍀 seasonal designer outfits
🍀 professional photoshoots
🍀 and a 𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁, 𝗻𝗼𝗻-𝗻𝗲𝗴𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗯𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗽𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝘆.

I actually presented her with a 𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐜 𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐛𝐮𝐝𝐠𝐞𝐭 last Tuesday.
She walked away 𝐦𝐢𝐝-𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧!! 🤯

I tried recruiting her for available positions -
𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐜𝐡 𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐫, 𝐬𝐧𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐫, 𝐨𝐫 𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥-𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐜𝐞… she said employment “𝚒𝚜𝚗’𝚝 𝚊𝚕𝚒𝚐𝚗𝚎𝚍 𝚠𝚒𝚝𝚑 𝚑𝚎𝚛 𝚙𝚎𝚛𝚜𝚘𝚗𝚊𝚕 𝚋𝚛𝚊𝚗𝚍” and went back to her nap, 𝐎𝐍𝐋𝐘 after she demanded her bow tie be 𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐝, 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐝?!
And I’m fairly certain they’re already in talks with Bravo… 🙄

They pay no rent.
They have opinions about everything.
Their biggest stress is deciding 𝐰𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐡 𝐥𝐮𝐱𝐮𝐫𝐲 𝐛𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐞𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐧….

🎬🐾 On today’s episode of 𝑺𝒑𝒐𝒊𝒍𝒆𝒅 & 𝑱𝒐𝒃𝒍𝒆𝒔𝒔…

We’ve been back from Vegas for 10 minutes and the judgment from these tiny freeloaders is already deafening. 😒

They’re acting like we didn’t just fund their 5-star sitter stay while we were out in Vegas trying to secure more treat and toy money. 🎰💸

Frank and I went to win money…
but little did we know these three had already spent it all on “𝙚𝙢𝙤𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙙𝙖𝙢𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙨” during our 5-day absence. 🫠

No happy reunion.
No excited tail wags.
Just side-eyes 😒 and severe 𝙮𝙤𝙪-𝙡𝙚𝙛𝙩-𝙪𝙨-𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 energy.

𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐃𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐧𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞:
• Private chauffeur service 🛻
• Luxury-grade fluffy bedding 🛏️✨
• A formal apology for their “abandonment” 📝
• Unlimited emotional support snacks 🍪

The entitlement in this vehicle is astronomical.

And yet… we will continue financing this lifestyle like the soft-hearted sponsors we are. 💅🐾

Because let’s be honest, we don’t run this house.

Winter walks have been shorter, but energy is still high. So let’s 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧 instead of just their legs. 👇

You don’t need new products.
You don’t need to freeze anything.

Ok, I know I’m late to the game here, but for those that don’t know and you already shop at Costco, keep an eye out for this in the 𝐝𝐨𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐚𝐢𝐬𝐥𝐞. 👀 In our 𝐖𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐬𝐨𝐫 𝐂𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐜𝐨, it’s in a 𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐳𝐞𝐫 𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐤𝐢𝐛𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐢𝐬.

They now carry 𝐛𝐨𝐭𝐡 𝐚 𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐥𝐲 𝐜𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐞𝐝 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐚 𝐫𝐚𝐰 𝐝𝐨𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐨𝐝 for $𝟒𝟗.𝟗𝟗 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝟏𝟖 𝐥𝐛 - and honestly, for the price, it’s a 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 solid option.

I checked the ingredients and ratios and I’m actually happy with what I’m seeing: 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐭, 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐬, 𝐰𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐧𝐨 𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬. That alone makes it a 𝘩𝘶𝘨𝘦 step up from kibble.

Is it perfect? No.
Is it a 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭, 𝐚𝐟𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐮𝐩𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞 you can grab during your regular Costco run? Absolutely!!

Like most gently cooked foods, the calcium isn’t coming from real bone (it’s added synthetically) - not a bad thing, just not perfect.

💡 𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞’𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭: Even 𝐦𝐢𝐱𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐤𝐢𝐛𝐛𝐥𝐞 will 𝘴𝘪𝘨𝘯𝘪𝘧𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘭𝘺 level up your dog’s bowl. You don’t have to go all-in or do it perfectly for it to make a difference.

And just to say this out loud: Everything is expensive right now and we’re all doing the best we can. This is a really nice option for anyone who wants to improve their dog’s food in a realistic way while still trying to be as 𝐜𝐨𝐬𝐭-𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐚𝐬 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞. 💚

🚫 They don’t need dancing dogs and sad violin music to convince you.

Most big brands are optimizing for:
