There’s still time to join Vanderlaand The Barnyard Zoo and It’s an Art Thing for A Brush with a Donkey.

Spend the afternoon painting a sweet donkey on canvas while the real donkeys provide the barnyard atmosphere — and possibly a little artistic supervision.

🔥🐐 Night #4 of Sunset Fireside Goat Snuggling! 🐐🔥

Tonight ended up being Ladies’ Night — and what a beautiful fall evening it was. ❤️

Sitting around the fire, enjoying the baby goats, warm drinks, s’mores and good company. It really is such a peaceful way to spend a fall evening.

Unfortunately, tomorrow night is looking like a rainout. 🌧️ But next week’s weather is looking much more promising, so we’re adding ONE LAST WEEK!

What a lovely Holiday Monday at the farm. ❤️

We welcomed some first-time visitors today, including one little boy who absolutely fell in love with the goats. 🐐 He was pretty upset when he found out he couldn’t take one home with him. 😂
Maybe someday!

We also had returning visitors who told us this is their favourite farm to visit and that they just love our animals. Hearing things like that never gets old.

As always, we truly appreciate every single person who chooses to spend part of their day with us. Your visits support our animals, our farm and this crazy little dream of ours. ❤️

The farm is OPEN today — Thanksgiving Monday — 10–3!

On this day, we give thanks. ❤️

We are thankful for this life, for our health and for our family. We are thankful for the farm, our animals, and especially for all the wonderful people we get to meet along the way.

The interactions we have every day with our visitors mean more to us than you probably realize. The conversations, the smiles, the familiar faces who keep coming back and the new families discovering us for the first time — it all means the world to us.

Your visits are what support our farm, our animals and this crazy dream of ours. We simply couldn’t do it without you.

So today, we are especially thankful for YOU. ❤️

🍂 Sunday at the Farm — Thanksgiving Weekend 🍂

We’re so happy that so many people made a visit to the farm part of their Thanksgiving weekend. ❤️

We had the sweetest little girl visit with her family for the first time today — she absolutely loved the farm, and they told us they’ll definitely be back!

Another family told us they found us while looking for places with great animal interaction, and our farm came up as one of the top places to visit. They had such a great time and said they’ll be back too. I love hearing that!

We even had a visitor all the way from Vancouver who is here visiting friends. She said she already had friends who had visited our farm before. How cool is that?!

Thank you to everyone who visits, supports our little farm and, most importantly, enjoys spending time with our animals. It really means so much to us. ❤️🐐🫏🐷

🐰 HOLD A BUNNY FOR CHARITY 🐰

Our third year doing Hold a Bunny for Charity at Fall for Merrickville, and it continues to be such a fun part of the day!

Everyone loves getting a chance to sit, cuddle and hold these sweet bunnies — and the best part is, it’s all for a good cause. ❤️ Money raised gets donated to charity.

A HUGE thank you to Sylvie from Bunny Tail Rabbitry for lending me her beautiful bunnies this year. Sadly, I didn’t have any of my own bunnies available, and I knew people would be disappointed if we didn’t have bunny cuddles. I asked Sylvie if she could help me out and she said YES! 🐰❤️

And a huge thank you to everyone who stopped by, held a bunny and donated!

I’ll count up all the money and let you know our grand total — and which charity will be receiving it.
