This is a LIMITED entry trial and depending on entries, will begin mid-late afternoon.

Sign up HERE for Happy Ratters September 2nd. The earliest the trial would start is 4pm but that is only if everyone in that class can make it at that time. I will do my best to accommodate everyone!

Tick off what you hope to run, but not all runs may go ahead depending on entries/who is interested but I hope I can accommodate most.

Trial runs are $20/run (max 6 per dog)
FEO or "for fun" runs are $5 each (appropriate for practice or puppies!)

I'm offering some new games we've not played before like A-MAZing Rats, Box a Rat and Earn a Rat!

Great news ratting fans! I've got 2 limited entry trials on the calendar for September. These are both late afternoon/evening trials.

Wednesday September 2 (approved)
Friday September 11 (pending approval)

For September 2, practice runs/FEO runs will be available! Come and try out a regulation course/game in a small, positive environment set up to help you and your dog succeed!

I applied for a variety of games as well (Earn A Rat, A-Mazing Rat, Box A Rat, Rats in the Garden etc) but not all will run, it depends on who is interested in what. Entry form to be posted later today or PM me!

Every day is National Dog Day here! I really wanted to take the pups swimming but poor Rill has an ear infection so it will have to wait for another day. We did some fun training instead.

It's also a day to remember the special dogs waiting for us at the bridge 🌈

These 2 boys helped me start my professional training and sport dog career. They also loved the water! Keep on swimming and splashing Maverick and Dune!

Did you do anything with your special pup to celebrate? I'd love to see some pictures in the comments!

Hey everyone! I have a spot available in my drop in agility class tomorrow evening (Tuesday) at 7pm. Your dog must have attended a class with me (or private lessons) but can be new to agility!

In this very small class (4 dogs maximum) teams take individual turns in the agility field to practice their skills or if they're new to agility, learn the equipment. Drop in fee is $20 and this is a 1 hour class. DM me to snag this spot!

Urban Challenge Games and Lost Item Challenge Games (all 6 of each games are offered but if there is only 1 or 2 dog entered in a level, depending on entries and judging time limits, they may not run)

Sunday September 13

Shed (all 3 trials)
Urban Locate (all 3 trials)

Trial site is located approximately 24 minutes south/east of Williams Lake on the Horsefly Road. On site camping is available for $10/night. There is no cell service or internet at this location.

NASDA September 12-13 trials are approved and will be open for entry at 8pm on Sunday August 16th so mark your calendars and set your alarm!

We're bringing back up the amazing Laura Baratta to judge and the trial this Fall will be held at the Miocene Community Hall grounds.

Strong possibility of a Friday Happy Ratters trial as well or an advanced NASDA workshop for those starting those higher levels if there is interest 😃

Summer is just flying by!!! I've had a couple people request that their pups would like to spend part of their summer playing rat games so instead of practices, why not a league!

Wednesday evenings on August 19, 26, and possibly September 2nd (pending hockey schedule) but we'd play some of the newer Happy Ratter games like A-MAZEing Rat, Earn a Rat, Silent Hunt etc. I would do a poll to see who would like to try what!

Who is interested???? :D
This will be good practice for NASDA in September and there * may be* a small Happy Ratters trial that weekend as well!

LIFE SKILLS AND MANNERS OBEDIENCE GROUP CLASSES are currently ongoing TUESDAYS @ 6pm! There is room for one more dog to start next week and as summer rolls along, more spots will open up as dogs graduate! If you were thinking about working on better manners, working around distracts, and training your dog's best version of himself- reach out to reserve your spot this summer!

I've had a request for a weekday daytime option for this class and I'm probably looking at Tuesdays or Wednesdays at 10am (so it's hopefully not too hot).

Who is interested???!!!! Please let me know in the comments or by DM. Typically class size is limited to 5-6 dogs.

Shift workers, you're welcome to inquire as well! I know your schedules can be hectic and it's hard to plan for 5 consecutive weeks of class but I can accommodate you to miss some and make them up later!
