ENTRIES FOR OUR NASDA AND WOOFY SCENTING GAMES TRIALS IN PG JULY 18-19 ARE NOW OPEN!

These entries will be open for one week and are based on the lottery system. We decided to do a lottery for this trial as we had no time to give you all advanced notice of when the trial would be open for entries. Next weekend we will close entries and let you know if you made it in. If it does not fill then we will open up any additional spaces.

Here is the premium and entry for the NASDA trial (go to our Facebook accounts for clickable links): https://docs.google.com/document/d/1gOwNcRFFXZCNiYmi2KwoZYGJ9Zh36IsU8ffmSPl27co/edit?usp=sharing

I'm super excited to get new teams started with nosework and am considering an advanced/problem solving seminar as well for teams looking for more challenges and to advance their teamwork.

A huge thank you and congratulations to everyone who attended our Happy Ratters and NASDA urban challenge games trial last weekend and braved the rain! AND a massive thank you to Barb King for coming down from Quesnel to judge 🥰

I sincerely appreciate the supreme sportsmanship, volunteers that stepped up to help and everyone willing to give advice and help to those that were new to trialing - we forget sometimes but its really nerve wracking to attend your first trial and have spectators watch and be evaluated on your performance, so such a huge THANKS from the bottom of my heart to make others feel welcome

A couple of spots left! This session could also be used as trial prep if your dog has been introduced to rats already :)

Junior handlers welcome as well!

Still a couple of spots left in this intro workshop on Sunday!

If your dog has been introduced to rats already, we can make accommodations to teach them some new skills and get you TRIAL READY for competition on June 6th!

Do you have a dog that LOVES to sniff in the environment and chase critters like squirrels? Would you like to funnel these natural talents into something productive and fun?

Then QUARRY HUNTING may be the perfect activity for your dog!
Maybe you've heard of Barn Hunt, which is where dogs search for trained, pet rats that are contained in safe, dog proof tubes. Quarry hunting is a broader term for dog sports that involve playing hide and seek with the rodent friends and may include searching in wooded areas, and more urban areas such as barns, garages, wood piles, around vehicles, or in man made burrows.

Our Quarry Hunting Intro sessions are the perfect introduction for new dogs and handlers
- JUNIOR HANDLERS WELCOME TOO!

Dogs search on their own so if your dog needs space from other dogs, they are welcome too!

Investment: The cost for this two hour session is $50/dog and the sessions are 10am-12pm or 1:30-3:30pm on Sunday May 24th.

Location: 15 minutes south of Williams Lake in 150 Mile House

Happy Ratters Competitions are being held at the same location on June 6th and many dogs are "good" enough at searching for quarry with just one intro session that they can try their paw at competing!

Class sizes are limited so dogs get to fit in lots of fun and practice!

Entries for HAPPY RATTERS and NASDA Urban Locate Challenge games trials are now OPEN!

The tentative plan (depending on entries) is to start with Happy Ratters at 9am. Dump Hunter Level 2 rounds (indoors) and Rats in the Garden Level 1 rounds will likely run simultaneously.

Following Happy Ratters, we'll do NASDA Urban Challenge Games (2 rounds each of games 2, 4, 6).
