Pupdate on Odin

Odin has settled in so well.
He will be available for adoption soon

Odin LOVES to play, especially with outdoor toys of pretty much any kind in the yard.
He loves the big Kong we have on a chain, from aunt Allison Kelly at Peninsula Pet Supplies most, and he says these toys beat the rocks he first came with by miles.
He also loves the herding balls of various sizes, and destroying any air filled ball - he has claimed a soccer ball and a football so far. These are things we usually find at yard sales through the summer and stock up on because we expect they won't last too long.
Odin loves to bounce around the yard and is just joy on 4 legs.
He says it's a definitive no to other dogs, and we wouldn't trust him with cats.
He is a senior but don't let his age and Grey hairs fool you. Odin moves well and can be boisterous when playing, so older kids are recommended.
We're loving getting to know Odin again, he is such a sweet soul. We will keep you pupdated on our boy, he will make someone the most wonderful companion.
Thank you to the person who donated toward helping Odin feel at home. We purchased him a brand new collar and tag from TagsforHope and are putting the rest toward any updated vetting he will need prior to adoption. We are awaiting medical records to be sure to best give him what he needs.
If you would like to donate toward Odin's care, etransfers can be sent to [email protected] or [email protected] with RRRESCUE in the notes so it is applied to the correct account.
If you read all the way to the bottom, please leave Odin a note in the comments and I'll read them to him :)

Unfortunately we will have to cancel tomorrow's (Saturday) nail trim as well at Pet Valu Owen Sound

We will try to reschedule and keep you posted.

Resting and recovering is boring.
We hope to be feeling back to baseline and resume regular activities soon!
Apologies for those inconvenienced, we hate to have to cancel but wanted to try to give as much notice as possible as well.

2021 Carlos (formerly Carlo) entered our care with deformed back legs
He was adopted by the bestest mom he could have hoped for.
Carlos persevered and loved until the end
I'll be forever sorry that we quicked your nail last time we saw you!

2026 we say goodbye to another alumni

Every dog can teach us something.
Be open to listening to what the have to teach you.

See you on the other side, little buddy 💞🌥🌈
