From my little family to yours, I’m wishing our wonderful community a Thanksgiving filled with love, laughter, gratitude, and a whole lot of furry cuddles!

To all the fur children out there, may your day be filled with delicious turkey dinners, extra treats, belly rubs, cozy naps, and absolutely zero thoughts about sharing your favourite spot on the couch!

As we head into this season of gratitude, I want to thank everyone who has supported my small business and welcomed me into their lives and homes. Every booking, recommendation, kind word, and share means more to me than you know.

A PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT FROM SOOKI…

Apparently, someone has decided that because my mama used AI to help create her business card, her business must not be real.

Excuse me?! Have you met my mama? Do you know her story, her passion, the work she puts into caring for other people’s fur children, or the journey it took to get The Cat’s Pajamas Inn back up and running? No? Then perhaps we should put the keyboard down, human.

And just so we’re clear, using a tool to help design a business card doesn’t make a business any less real. The love, time, dedication, and care behind it are what matter.

That being said, I want to remind everyone that words can hurt, and careless comments can genuinely affect someone’s small business. Behind every little business is a real person, a story, and often a whole lot of courage just to put themselves out there.

You should never judge a book by its cover, and the same goes for a business by its business card. You never know the story behind either one.

Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have some important matters to discuss with management. Namely, why my treats are being threatened with budget cuts this month because apparently, we’re investing in business growth instead.

A NEW CHAPTER FOR THE CAT’S PAJAMAS INN

My new business cards have arrived, and holding them in my hands feels like so much more than just having a new card. It feels like holding a little piece of a dream I’ve been building with so much love.

Caring for animals has never felt like “just a job” to me. It’s something I genuinely love. I love earning their trust, learning their little personalities, keeping their routines, giving them comfort, and knowing their families can have peace of mind while they’re away.

Every pet I care for becomes part of my little extended fur family, and I’m so grateful for every person who trusts me with someone they love so deeply.

The Cat’s Pajamas Inn is entering a new chapter here in Edmonton and I’m so excited to see where this journey takes me.

Hi everyone! I’m Jayda! The owner of The Cat’s Pajamas Inn, and I’m so excited to be bringing my passion for animals to the Edmonton community!
