Just wanted to show off this personal project I’ve been working on for my girls, on and off, for a couple months. I am absolutely, completely in love with them.

To share a bit about the details, these were inspired by medieval tapestry and manuscript art. The unicorn is for my older gal Birdie, hence the swallows in the corners. The dragon is for my younger, Myshka, whose name means “little mouse”. The flowers are a trillium and Nootka rose respectively, which are native plants. 😊

For anyone curious about the materials, it’s heat transfer vinyl on biothane. My normal process is using HTV layering of hand drawn patterns on adjustable biothane, which I then use to make collars and other gear, but I really wanted to see just how far I could push my tools and materials. Couldnt be happier with how they came out. And thank you to Shanelle Matthews for the photos (and encouragement to) 🥹🥹🥹

Could not be more obsessed with this adjustable French Martingale lead which is showing off our new Dusky Treeline pattern. Might be a new favorite for me!

Fun fact about this pattern: if you custom order, you can also get it with bears bear 🐻 instead of wolves 🐺 . The same goes for our original Treeline pattern which features bears by default. We hope to expand our line of animal silhouettes soon. What would you like to see?

Had such a good time meeting everyone a the Pacific Kennel Club show, including this heart-melting cutie 🥹 she’s rocking one of our slip leads, which is a great tool to have in your back pocket. I always like to keep an extra one or two in my car in case I forgot to put collars on or grab the leashes — or if I run into a stray dog :)

Have you ever heard of a French Martingale? It’s a leash and collar all in one, great for dirty adventures or dog sports, which is why we call ours the Grey Jay Sport Lead! The double neckband distributes pressure around the neck for comfort and safety while the sliding stopper allows you to keep the collar closed if needed. While traditionally favored by dock divers, barn hunters, and other canine athletes, these leashes are good for any “quick on and quick off” uses, from off leash beach adventures to late night potty trips!

While our summer market season has mostly come to a close, we can still make custom gear for you! Our popular Home & Horizon lead is an adjustable hands-free lead with a traffic handle, which can also be used as an 8 foot long line. The nice thing about each one being made to order is that it can be easily tweaked to best suit your needs — whether that’s a longer traffic handle for a low-riding pup, or an extra D ring to hold p**p bags, or a scissor style clip instead of a traditional swivel. It’s all up to you!
