Last week we said goodbye to our boy Jasper.
13 years old, my sister, mom and I got him when he was just a few weeks old. He was there for carrer changes, house moves, moves across the country and before kids. Jasper was there with us through it all.

He was my little work buddy and commuted downtown for years taking the busses, subways, go trains, walking up and down escalators and elevators.

He saw me become a mom and was always happy to come on an adventure (in the bottom of the stroller riding along) thanks Jasper for being with us for the 13 years you were here! You will be missed, now him and Bowser are together again causing trouble im sure of it.

This wicked sister duo is going to defy gravity, and become popular!

Named after the snowstorm that brought them into SPIN this pair is settling in at Furry Friends pet resort and got their very own chauffeur Bill to transport them to me for a groom.

Not knowing a whole lot about these girls beginnings they are looking forward into the future. Cautious and careful, they need a slow start but are so sweet once they warm up.

Ive done numerous grooms for SPIN and each dog has been different, grooming these very shy and scared puppies today I told them stories about how they are in the best hands to be brave and grow. Just today alone foster dogs were walked, fed, groomed and had surgeries big (Turbo) and small! (Pippin)

It takes a village and these girls have it. They arrived in a snow storm (and they were not even the only transport for SPIN done by volunteers during that snow storm!) They are staying at Furry Friends pet resort as they settle in and get used to things. There is so many people who volunteer their time for SPIN and are working hard behind the scenes, each photo of a dog you see on the page has a story behind it and SO MANY people that have helped organize and do transports, getting them into foster homes, training, grooming, vet visits, intakes, reference checks and calls and so much more just to get you that perfect pup on your couch.

I am so greatful to be a part of such a big rescue, and although today was just a day for these puppies it was a slow paced groom that will help them forever, these girls have a lot more big days ahead of them now that they are a part of this awesome community.

B O O M E R is handsome and he knows it !!! This guy got a little bath and glow up, short and sweet cut for the summer heat 🌞 BOOMER IS AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION through he's being fostered in Whitby, Ontario.
