Happy Boss's Day CHONA!!

Since joining our team, earlier this year, Chona has taken on a lot and navigated many challenges with patience, kindness, and understanding. We appreciate having someone who is approachable, supportive, and always willing to listen.

Chona keeps us informed, communicates openly and honestly, and makes herself available when we need someone to turn to. Her caring nature, sense of humor, and genuine commitment to our team make a difference in our day-to-day work.

We know that creating a positive change takes time, and we appreciate the effort she puts into improving both the quality of care we provide to our patients and the work environment for our team!

We are thrilled to celebrate the amazing contributions of our Registered Veterinary Technicians (RVT's) and Veterinary Technicians this month. Our team of four RVT's is truly exceptional with 88 years of experience between them all, and we want to take the opportunity to highlight each one and their incredible work and dedication.
Shannon has been an RVT at Baker Animal Clinic for 27 years and has a passion for anesthesia, surgery and patient care. You can often find her cuddling with her
patients when they are recovering from surgery. Her TLC goes a long way.
Kim has been an RVT for 21 years and has been with Bakers for 19 years. She is an amazing advocate for our patients comfort and quality of life, especially our
senior pets.
Rebecca has been an RVT for 16 years and joined our team over 6 years ago. Rebecca is our nutrition leader, social media coordinator, sets up our in clinic displays, organizes our fundraisers and is also passionate about dentistry, patient care, client education and guiding our future generation of Veterinary professionals
through our coop programs.
Meet our evening appointment rockstar, Stacey, who started her career in Veterinary Emergency medicine. She has been a Veterinary Technician for 24 years and rejoined our team almost 2 years ago. Stacey is passionate about ensuring pets receive the best pain management possible- because comfort is care. She also approaches euthanasia with deep compassion and respect, helping families say goodbye with dignity and love.

October is Farley Fundraiser Month, and Baker Animal Clinic is raising money for a great cause- with a little something special for one lucky supporter!

The Farley Foundation helps low-income pet owners in Ontario by subsidizing the cost of non-elective veterinary care for their sick or injured pets. For more information on the Farley Foundation visit https://www.farleyfoundation.org/

We're raffling off a CUSTOM PET PORTRAIT from Whiteworks in London, Ontario, valued at $75! The prize includes one pet headshot painted on an 8x10 canvas.

As we savor our Thanksgiving feasts this coming long weekend, let’s ensure our
pets enjoy a safe meal too! Keep onions, grapes, alcohol, turkey skin, and poultry bones, chocolate/sweets (to name a few) away from them. Opt for a delightful treat like plain pumpkin puree – they’ll adore it!
