Otis is a sweet, easygoing little guy with a big purr and gentle personality, while Winnie is a calm, affectionate girl who loves attention and is starting to discover just how much fun toys can be.

Both are 5 months old, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, parasite treated, and FIV/FeLV negative.

Parmesan is the more reserved member of the trio, but sheโ€™s happy to be close by and keep you company. Youโ€™ll often find her tucked into a perfect little loaf beside her people, and we have a feeling the cuddles wonโ€™t be far behind.

Donโ€™t let Cheddarโ€™s serious little face fool you! Sheโ€™s curious, sweet, and quick to warm up. Her purr motor kicks in fast, especially when chin scratches are involved.

Weโ€™ve been working on the Farmington colony for months now, and one thing weโ€™ve learned is that just when we think weโ€™re getting close to the end, another cat shows up that weโ€™ve never seen before.

Today, we trapped this older kitten, who weโ€™re guessing is around 6 months old. We donโ€™t know yet if we have a boy or a girl, so for now weโ€™re just giving them some time to settle in and decompress.

Older kittens with little socialization can sometimes be pretty spicy, but this one is already showing some promising signs and even allowed us to give a few pets today. โค๏ธ

Once theyโ€™ve had some time to decompress, weโ€™ll get them booked in to see one of our veterinary partners.

Weโ€™re so happy to share that Tilly has found her forever home! This afternoon, she headed off with her wonderful new family. ๐Ÿฅฐ

A big thank you to Pet Valu Windsor for having Tilly with them this past week. Her new family spotted her there, fell in love, and the rest is history. โค๏ธ Tilly spent the weekend back in her foster home while she waited for adoption day, and today it all became official.

Weโ€™ve been a little quiet with updates specifically about Maggie since our last post on August 18th, but today weโ€™re happy to share some good news.

When we last posted, Maggie was very sick. She had blood work done and received medication, fluids, higher calorie food and a lot of hands on care, including supplemental feedings when she wasnโ€™t eating on her own. It wasnโ€™t an overnight turnaround. Having recently lost another kitten with some similar symptoms, we decided to hold off on another update and simply give Maggie some time while we closely monitored her.

About five or six days ago, we slowly started seeing little changes, and sheโ€™s continued to get stronger. Sheโ€™s now eating completely on her own, purring, playing and acting much more like the Maggie we know. Maggie will remain in isolation for now, but if all continues to go well, sheโ€™ll be reunited with her two siblings in her foster home at the end of this coming week.

A very special thank you to everyone who donated toward Maggieโ€™s care and our unexpected veterinary expenses. Your support truly helped when we needed it.

And thank you to everyone who shared her post, checked in and sent well wishes. We know many of you have been wondering about her, and weโ€™re very happy that this is the update we finally get to share.

Carolina and Serena came into our care as older kittens after being born outside. Like many kittens who hadnโ€™t had much early human contact, they were a little โ€œspicyโ€ at first, which is actually how they got their names! Carolina was named after the Carolina Reaper, while Serena is our feminine little twist on the Serrano pepper. ๐ŸŒถ๏ธ With time, patience, and love, these two girls have come an incredibly long way, and now theyโ€™re ready to find a forever home together.

These sisters share a special bond and will only be adopted as a pair. They play together, sleep together, and look to one another for comfort and confidence. Carolina is the more outgoing of the two and has truly blossomed. She loves being picked up, purrs like a little motorboat, and has become an incredibly sweet, affectionate girl.

Serena has made just as much progress in her own way. She is a little more cautious in new situations and takes her cues from Carolina, but every week, her confidence grows. She is learning that gentle attention, treats, and affection are all pretty wonderful.

Because these girls came to us as older kittens, theyโ€™ll need adopters who understand that trust takes time. They arenโ€™t looking for perfection on day one, theyโ€™re looking for someone who will celebrate each little milestone along the way. Watching these two continue to come out of their shells will be one of the most rewarding parts of adopting them. ๐Ÿ’œ

Three new intakes joined us today.

These three girls were found on a farm where the property owner has unfortunately dealt with cats being dropped off before. None of them belong to the farm owner, none are microchipped, and none are spayed.

We have one little one who looks to be around 14 weeks old and two older kittens, likely around 5โ€“6 months. We also believe one of the older girls may be pregnant.

Given the circumstances and the history at this location, this very much appears to be another dumping situation.

There is absolutely ZERO need for this. Please, spay and neuter your cats. It is one of the most important things you can do to help stop this cycle.

For now, these three are safe with us, and their future looks a whole lot different than it did yesterday.
