OUR next Learn to Ride on the Trail session of 2026 will begin on Sunday, June 7th. Dates for this session will be June 7, 14, 21 and 28 from 11 am to 1 pm (note that participants will need to arrive at 10:30 am on the first day to get signed in and complete waivers).
These sessions are open to anyone aged 9 years and up, and are appropriate for both beginners and for anyone looking to become more comfortable riding on the trails. If you have done some trail rides and want to learn more about riding, this may be the right fit for you!
Over the course of these 4 weeks, participants will learn the basics of grooming and tacking, how to safely work around horses on the ground and in the saddle, and work on riding basics specific to trail riding conditions.
The cost per person for the 4 sessions total is $276; a $100 non-refundable deposit is required when booking to hold your spot, and the balance ($176) is due before the second week (June 14th in this case). Payment is accepted by eMail transfer to [email protected].
No special clothing or equipment is required; please dress appropriately for the weather each time, and boots with a small heel are ideal. We will provide ASTM-SEI approved equestrian helmets for all participants unless you happen to have your own.
