Last Bluenose Chapter training session before hunting season will be at Kim Marryatt & Adam Forbes place.

9am start
Bird work with pigeons/launchers in field, Starter Pistol available
Tracking with thawed duck or pheasant
Parking on grass in front of Barn and across from barn when you pull into driveway

There are 2 small horses along top right side of field, if your dog is not familiar with larger animals, please keep them under control or leashed on that side of property.

We’ll be using chukar and pheasants at our practice test August 8th so if you plan on attending we’ll need you to reach out to one of us ASAP to pay for some birds. Chukar are 17$ and pheasant are 20$.

Here’s the info you’ve been waiting for!

Bluenose Chapter of NAVHDA will hold tests for all levels (Natural Ability; Gun Dog; Utility) on Saturday 15 August and Sunday 16 August at 636 Southside Road in Upper Stewiacke, Nova Scotia.

Test entry forms for NAVHDA registered dogs are available at navhda.org through the member portal which can auto-populate information for you and your dog. Any questions can be sent to:
