NayNays Puppers Positive, custom training for dogs of all ages. Build manners, confidence & connection. 🐾 Train. Treat. Repeat.

With a diverse background spanning over 20 years in administration, office management, accounting, and project management, I bring a wealth of experience and a unique skill set to every project I take on. My professional expertise is complemented by my deep passion for dog training, a field in which I have dedicated over two decades to honing my skills. Recently, I became a certified dog trainer a

fter graduating from Good Dog Academy, where I formalized my long-standing experience working with dogs. Whether working with clients to address behavioral issues or training dogs to their full potential, I strive to bring a compassionate, tailored approach to each canine-human relationship. My love and passion for dogs has been the driving force behind my commitment to continuous education and constant learning in the field of dog training. I believe in using positive reinforcement techniques and humane training methods that not only respect the dog's natural instincts but also foster a strong, trusting bond between dogs and their owners. By focusing on reward-based approaches, I create an environment where dogs can thrive, learn, and enjoy the training process. Working closely with clients, I strive to build and strengthen the human-dog relationship, helping them understand their pets better and communicate more effectively. For me, training goes beyond just teaching behaviors—it's about creating lasting partnerships that improve the quality of life for both dogs and their families. In addition to my technical and managerial roles, I hold a background in visual arts. My creative mindset, combined with my ability to think outside the box, allows me to approach challenges with fresh perspectives and innovative solutions—whether that’s in the boardroom or in training sessions with dogs. Driven by a love for learning and problem-solving, I’m excited to blend my artistic creativity, professional experience, and passion for dogs to make meaningful impacts across all areas of my work.

🐾 Another Personal Update from NayNays Puppers

This is an update I truly never expected to have to write.

Over the past few weeks, my family has experienced an unimaginable amount of loss, and we are now dealing with the passing of a third family member.

We are still grieving. We are still attending to arrangements, and the funerals for our family losses are not yet behind us. It has been an incredibly heavy few weeks, and understandably, life and NayNays Puppers have had to take a back seat.

That being said, I am slowly beginning to spend a little time working again behind the scenes.

Not because everything is okay or because I'm ready to return to normal — but because right now, having something productive and familiar to focus on provides a much-needed distraction from everything happening around us.

🐾 What does this mean for NayNays Puppers?

For the time being, there is still no firm timeline for the courses, educational materials, resources and other projects I've been developing. They are still coming, but I am no longer putting deadlines on when they need to be finished or released.

I also will not be seeing training clients for at least another one to two weeks.

This decision isn't only about giving myself and my family the time we need to get through the remaining arrangements and funerals. It is also an important decision for the dogs I work with and the quality of training I provide.

Dogs are incredibly observant of the people around them. They notice changes in our behaviour, body language, movement, tone of voice and overall emotional state. Right now, my emotional and mental state — and even the way that may present physically — is understandably different from what it normally is.

That matters during a training session.

My presence can influence how comfortable, attentive, aroused or responsive a dog may be. It could affect how a session unfolds and, particularly during behavioural observation or assessment, may mean that I am not seeing the dog's most representative everyday behaviour.

I don't believe it would be fair to the dog, their guardian or the training process to conduct a session when I know I may unintentionally influence what I'm observing or be unable to give that team the same level of attention and guidance they would normally receive from me.

When I return to working directly with clients, I want to be able to show up fully — for both ends of the leash.

Social media will also remain relatively quiet.

You may see one or two posts from me this week as I slowly begin working on some content again. After that, I will continue preparing things behind the scenes, with the hope of gradually bringing regular educational and social content back closer to the end of September.

For now, I'm simply taking things one day at a time.

To everyone who has continued to give me patience, understanding and kindness through what has become an incredibly difficult period for our family — thank you. 💜

NayNays Puppers is still here. The plans haven't disappeared, and neither has my excitement for everything I've been creating.

I'm just finding my way back to it slowly.

🐾 A Personal Update from NayNays Puppers

I had hoped that my previous update would be the only one I needed to make before we slowly began getting things back on track. Unfortunately, our family has experienced another loss.

Yesterday morning, my grandmother passed away.

With two deaths in our family within just a few days, my heart is incredibly heavy, and there is a lot that my family and I are still dealing with.

At this time, I honestly don't know exactly when the scheduled posts, educational materials, resources, courses and other things I've been working on will begin rolling out again.

For now, August will most likely remain quiet for NayNays Puppers.

I'm still hopeful that we'll be able to begin moving forward again sometime in later September, including starting to introduce some of the educational content and courses I've been working so hard to create. But right now, I don't want to put a firm date on that.

NayNays Puppers isn't going anywhere. 💜
The plans are still there. The courses are still coming. The educational resources, training content and everything I've been building behind the scenes will still be shared.

Right now, though, I need to give myself and my family the time we need to grieve, take care of arrangements and responsibilities, and simply deal with everything that comes with losing two people we love in such a short period of time.

To my clients, followers, friends and everyone in our community who has reached out, offered condolences or simply given us the space and understanding we've needed — thank you. It means more than I can express.

For now, things may be a little quieter around here.

When I'm ready, we'll start again. 💜🐾

🐾 A Small Update from NayNays Puppers

We wanted to share a brief update with our community.

Following the recent loss of an immediate family member, we are currently taking some time to focus on our family, the arrangements that need to be made, and everything that comes with losing someone close to you.

Because of this, some of the materials, educational information, posts, resources and other content we had scheduled to share are temporarily on hold.

This isn't a cancellation of what we've been working on — simply a pause while we give ourselves the time and space needed during this period of mourning.

Our hope is to begin gradually returning to our regular schedule toward the end of August, with new materials and educational content beginning to roll out again.

We are also still looking forward to launching the first of our upcoming educational courses in early September. 🐶📚

There is a lot that we've been working on behind the scenes, and we're excited to share it with you when the time is right.

For now, we want to sincerely thank our clients, followers, friends and community for your patience, kindness and understanding while our family navigates the days ahead.

We'll be back soon. 💜🐾
