🦟❤️ Heartworm is here — even in Wasaga Beach!

Meet our resident puppy, who is currently in the middle of their heartworm treatment, with more treatment still to come. 🐾❤️

Heartworm is spread through the bite of an infected mosquito. Once transmitted, the parasite can cause serious damage to the heart and lungs.

It’s not just a problem “somewhere else” — our pets here in Ontario can be at risk too.

The good news? Heartworm is preventable! Talk to us about testing and keeping your furry family members protected. 🐶🐱
