Adoptable Ace (3 years) and Elsa (9 months), a heart-melting pair of youngsters who met through Ace's need for another cat to teach her about humans.
They have taught each other so much in the various aspects of being a cat!
They are usually found on their cat trees, playing up a storm and wrestling, or investigating the nearby humans. They will both try to get you to play if you pay attention to the signs. Where one is, the other is soon to join, especially for play with wand toys sporting attachments that look like broken birds or insects.
Elsa and Ace would prefer a home with other cats and have not been tested with dogs.
Elsa – the more chatty and younger of the two – is outgoing to the point of getting herself under foot or furniture, as she seeks to explore her environments and humans with great curiosity and enthusiasm! She has quite the vocabulary which she uses in response to being spoken to.
Ace, while shyer, has come leaps and bounds in exploring her own way of affection and playfulness, and will surprise you with at least as much energy once she gets running in circles with her favourite wand toys.
Because of her tendency to love nip and swipe while playing, she may not be suited to a home with young kids.
They both love full-body pets and back scratches; face, neck and head rubs; and bed snuggles or lap warming on their terms.
Elsa in particular enjoys a warm lap;she's also pretty insistent on belly rubs!
They especially love windows lending views to local wildlife but do not go outside.
They have also been extremely intrigued by the critters on Cat TV (YouTube).
When they have their forever home, where they can climb, run, pounce, and exchange affection with their human caretakers, they will be happy and so will you!
Here are some photos of their friendship and of some places to watch out for Elsa! Please go see them at Bosley's Royal Bay if you are interested and fill out an application at gvacrescue.ca
