I am heartbroken to hear that sweet senior Barney passed away last night. He was such a special, one-of-a-kind boy, and I adored him.

Barney is the only cat I have ever pet-sat who was so affectionate in his own unique way. Whether it was a paw resting on you or coming over for kisses first thing in the morning, he always found a way to be close. He was such a talker, too. He would let you know when he wanted to snuggle, when he wanted to be let out to prowl, and when he needed to find out where you were in the house so he could simply be with you.

Barney was so dearly loved and doted on by his mom and dad, and he truly lived like a prince. My heart aches for Deborah and Alex as they navigate their grief and loss of their sweet boy.

Back with my favorite spitfire, Kiwi. As much as she loves to snuggle, her favorite thing to do is chase a ball.

Some pets leave a lasting impression, no matter how short the time you know them.

Sweet Ryder was one of those special souls. Her gentle nature and kind spirit were impossible to forget, and I feel grateful to have had the chance to know her.

Rest in peace, sweet girl. ❤️🌈

Sending love and heartfelt condolences to Barb, Joey, and little brother Mac as they navigate this difficult loss. You are all in my thoughts.

✳️Experienced many new sights and sounds
✳️Climbed up a metal chair and looked cute doing it.
✳️Decided he was brave and walked on the edge
✳️Walked through the Downtown farmers market and got more attention
✳️Had his picture taken
✳️Experienced more sights and sounds
✳️Enjoyed his Nepalaya Chew

I did a couple of Overnight pet sits for Marshall over the Christmas holidays. I had so much fun getting to know him and his sassy personality 😉
