Gus has his microchip! Does your pet?
Thousands of pets go missing in Canada each year and only a small number are reunited with their owners. The Victoria Humane Society wants to make it easier to have your pet returned by holding a microchip clinic on Saturday July 4th from 9-4 at Breadner Veterinary Services located @ 2126 Keating X Road.
The cost will be $30 and all proceeds go right back to VHS to help more animals find their forever home.
Microchips are about the size of a grain of rice and are implanted under the skin between the shoulder blades using a needle. Each chip has a unique number that is read by a scanner. The number is registered at the time of implanting with your information.
