Essential Oils & Pets!
Worth the read…
I get this question often. “I bought this product online and it contains _______ oil.” We understand that sometimes purchasing products online is fast, cheaper, and helpful, to some extent. We are all trying to help our animals in different ways and we often hope an holistic approach is better. Absolutely! But, sometimes some holistic treatments may not be the best to use on or around your pet. Many products contain oils. Some oils are toxic to our furry friends! This can be in the form of inhalation, ingestion, or direct contact. With this being said, some of the essential oils which many of us use, maybe even for our own benefit are toxic to our pets. So below I’m going to list some of the most popular used oils that are “unsafe” for cats and “unsafe” for dogs. Make sure you check your products before you use them on or around your pets.
