What small changes have you noticed in your senior dog lately? Slower to get up after naps? Hesitating at the stairs? Shorter walks around the block?
We see these signs every week, and they're often the first clue to osteoarthritis. Extra weight wears cartilage faster, and dogs are very good at hiding discomfort. The earlier we catch it, the more we can do to keep your dog moving comfortably.
We'd love to hear what you've noticed in your own dog. Share in the comments, and if anything sounds familiar, call us or book a senior check-up with our team.
