During a recent grooming appointment, one of our groomers discovered a LARGE tick hidden in a dog’s coat. An important reminder of how easily ticks can go unnoticed—especially in thick, long, or double-coated dogs.

Regular grooming isn’t just about keeping your dog looking and feeling their best. It also gives groomers the opportunity to thoroughly examine your dog’s skin and coat, helping to identify concerns such as:
✔️ Ticks and fleas
✔️ Lumps and bumps
✔️ Skin irritations
✔️ Hot spots and infections
✔️ Changes that may need veterinary attention
🏡 Don’t Forget At-Home Tick Checks
After walks, hikes, or time spent outdoors, take a few minutes to check your dog for ticks. Pay close attention to:
• Around the ears
• Under the collar
• Between the toes
• Under the legs and armpits
• Around the face and neck
• Near the tail
