Over the last year and a half, Tiny Tim has been through a lot! 🐾

Alongside his three siblings, Tiny Tim was rescued from the illegal wildlife trade in 2025 and transferred to the Cheetah Rescue and Conservation Centre (CRCC) in Somaliland. He was only a few weeks old when he arrived, and spent his first few days at the CRCC in the clinic receiving intensive care from the veterinary team before beginning his rehabilitation. A few weeks after arriving, Tiny Tim and his siblings were introduced to two other rescued cubs – Taylor and Khalid. The six cats formed a bonded group, growing together and helping to simulate the natural learning processes that occur in the wild. In May, Tiny Tim was moved out of the CRCC’s cub area and into a much larger and wilder enclosure, where he lives with Khalid and his brother Kelce. A huge thank you to meowbox for sponsoring Tiny Tim!

Meet Tiny Tim! 🐆

Here at meowbox, we love kitties big and small. That’s why this month, as part of our One Box Can donation program, we’re sponsoring a cheetah through the amazing Cheetah Conservation Fund (CCF) in Namibia.

Tiny Tim and his siblings were rescued from the illegal wildlife trade in February 2025 and were transferred to the CCF’s Cheetah Rescue and Conservation Centre in Geed-Deeble, Somaliland to be rehabilitated. He may been small for his age as a cub (hence his name!) and have a missing femoral head on his hind leg, but this doesn’t stop him from being full of energy during playtime with his siblings!

A note about the last slide: After sending out a newsletter about Tiny Tim last week, we received this lovely response from a past meowbox subscriber named Sue. Sue told us that not only is she a longtime CCF supporter and spent several months in Namibia working there—she met Tiny Tim earlier this year! The world (of cat lovers especially!) is indeed much smaller than we’d think 🌍🐱
