The dogs you walk are covered if something goes wrong.

But are you?

As pet professionals, we protect our clients, their pets, our vehicles, and our businesses....but many of us have nothing in place to protect our own income if we get injured or sick.

Hustling isn’t an income protection plan.

For seven years, I protected my business, my van and my clients but I never properly protected myself.

I had coverage for certain work related risks through ProFur and WorkSafeBC. But what if I became sick or injured myself outside of work?

I didn’t have a plan for that.

I’ve walked dogs with a broken toe and stitches in my knee. Like many business owners, I pushed through because my clients depended on me and my income depended on my body.

I actually stopped snowboarding because I knew one bad injury could leave me unable to work and unable to pay my bills.

But what happens when you can’t push through?

If your business relies on you being physically able to work, your body is your business and hoping nothing happens isn’t a plan.

Big, exciting changes over here 🐾✨

Madison is stepping into an incredible new chapter, and we couldn’t be more proud to support her as she grows and builds something of her own. Watching her evolve and continue doing what she loves - just in a new way - has been so special.

Starting May 1st, Madison will be offering group walks through her new venture, while we continue working alongside each other and cheering each other on every step of the way 🤍

Stay Pooched isn’t going anywhere, we’ll still be here offering private dog walks, overnight house sitting, and hotel visits with the same love, care, and familiar faces you know and trust.

This is all about growth, collaboration, and doing what’s best for the pups 🐶

A little life update from me (Natalya)!

Most of you know me as the owner of Stay Pooched Petcare. Recently, alongside running Stay Pooched, I started a new chapter working with Experior Financial Group as a Financial Associate, where I help families protect their income and plan for their future.

After purchasing our first home 2.5 years ago, we went through some financial hardship due to botched renovations and fraudulent contractors. It has been an extremely stressful experience that we still have years to go dealing with, and it made me realize how quickly life can change..

Looking back, I really wasn’t aware of certain financial tools and protections that could have been set up earlier - both personally and within my business, that could have helped during a situation like that.

That experience is a big part of what led me into this field. I’ve realized how many people simply don’t know what options are available when it comes to insurance, debt strategies, and financial planning, and I’d love to help change that.
