Losing a pet creates a kind of grief that’s hard to put into language. Recently, an art therapist and fellow animal lover reached out to share a passion project she created after losing her own beloved dog - a Pet Loss Journal built from the same writing prompts she’s used to support clients working through the heartbreak of saying goodbye to their animal.

She created it with so much intention: a space to reflect, remember, and stay connected to the love you shared.

If you or someone you care about is moving through that kind of loss, this journal may offer comfort on the days that feel especially heavy.
