Border Patrol is requesting families with missing dogs, from either side of the border, contact authorities with clear identifying evidence & proof of ownership in relation to their missing dog.
Border Patrol is requesting that families inform call-takers they are inquiring about the recent dog seizure with evidence of their missing dog, and ask to be directed to the appropriate line.
TYPES OF IDENTIFYING EVIDENCE CAN INCLUDE:
β’ Clear Photographs Of Dog Including;
- Head & Full Body
- Markings
- Microchips, Tattoos or Tags
β’ Proof Of Ownership Can Include;
- Dog License
- Vet Records
- Microchips, Tattoos or Tags
- Service Dog or ESA Documentation
