Usually summer means going on hikes or camping for us. Unfortunately, this year's wildfires have devastated many communities, and the resulting smoke has also made it challenging for people and pets to spend time outdoors. We thought we'd share a list and maps of dog friendly hikes and off-leash parks around Metro Vancouver for when the smoke clears up. They used to be all the hikes that we did when our dog was alive.
