Cowboy, then and now!

From 8 weeks, to 12 weeks, to 16 weeks old, we’ve had the pleasure of watching this little Chihuahua grow right before our eyes. His one-of-a-kind markings may be what catches your attention, but his sweet personality is what really steals the show.

We can’t wait to see what you look like at your next visit, Cowboy!
Swipe left for a glimpse of a joyful Dr. Clare with Cowboy at his last visit.

On September 30, Paws on Fraser Veterinary Hospital will be closed in recognition of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

Today is a day to honour the children who never returned home, the Survivors of residential schools, and their families and communities. It is also an opportunity to listen, learn, reflect on the ongoing impacts of the residential school system, and consider the role each of us can play in reconciliation.

We will reopen on Thursday, October 1 at 10:00 AM.

Assistant Jay had the pleasure of spending some time with the lovely Sweetie, an English Bulldog who absolutely lives up to her name.

Sweetie isn’t just a clever name — it truly reflects her personality. She is gentle, affectionate, and every bit as sweet as she looks. It’s always a good day when patients like Sweetie come through our doors!

Meet Beatrice, a beautiful Devon Rex kitten with the most mesmerizing aqua-blue eyes.

Beatrice visited Paws On Fraser, where receptionist Trina snapped a selfie of the two of them. It was impossible not to be captivated by those gorgeous blue eyes and her sweet, curly-coated charm.

Meet Miso, a 12-week-old Doodle puppy visiting Paws On Fraser for the very first time!

This smart little pup quickly figured out that sitting on the scale means treats. Already a pro on “how to extract treats when at a vet hospital”!

Meet Cowboy, a 14-week-old Chihuahua puppy with the most gorgeous silver merle coat.

Cowboy stopped by for a visit with Dr. Clare, who is always especially joyful when a Chihuahua lands in her arms. Safe to say these two were pretty happy to meet each other.

We can’t wait to watch this handsome little cowboy grow up!
