The Spaw Spot Dog Grooming studio located near Valleyview, AB. Hello Everyone! My name is Cassidy.

I began my grooming career in 2020 working as a full time groomer in Grande Prairie. Since moving to Valleyview in 2021 I have been grooming part-time to slowly put together a small "studio" that I lovingly refer to as "The Spaw Spot". I am currently open to doing baths and full grooms on small dogs with hopes to expand my services to large dogs in the future!

I was very fortunate to be able to attend MASTERGROOM Canada last weekend in Red Deer. It was such a fun day and I even got some new goodies to bring home! Very excited to give these all a test in the studio this week.
And thank you to my husband who patiently tagged along for the day and kept our toddler from touching (with a toddler amount of love!) every ā€œpuppyā€ in the place.

Routine grooming (every 6-8 weeks) is important for more than just a tangle free coat!

Hi Everyone!
I will be making a small change to my services starting April 6, 2026. Due to my limited schedule Iā€™ve decided to switch from offering one on one services to a rotational schedule (2-3 dogs in the salon at once). My hope is this will keep bookings from getting so far out in advance, especially with spring around the corner!

What this mean for my customers:
- Your dog will no longer be alone in the salon at all times**
- Appointment durations may slightly lengthen
- If youā€™re already a multiple dog household this change doesnā€™t affect you at all, as Iā€™ve always taken in siblings all at once!

**If your dog has any behavioural or health issues (ex. severe anxiety, dog aggression, seizures etc) that may mean your dog still requires one on one services please let me know (remind me) at the time of booking and I will accommodate those animals that need it.

Client List is Closed!

Due to increased wait times for appointments Iā€™ve made the decision to close my client list for the time being.
I can still take on clients for nail trims but will not be accepting any new full haircut clients.

NOW BOOKING EARLY MARCH!

I greatly appreciate all my clients being so understanding of my current part time schedule due to my little man. And being okay with the occasional day he tags along!

However it does mean I book out farther in advance, so please be aware Iā€™m currently booking for the start of March.

Hi Everyone! I am very excited to announce that I will be reopening the salon come mid October! I will only be open Thursdays and Fridays to start, but I am hoping to be back up to regular hours by December.

I ask that everyone please be patient in awaiting responses from me as I start booking clients in! I will do my best to respond in a timely manner, but I am still chasing a little whoā€™s on the move!
