We are hiring!

Looking for an animal-savvy individual that has a flexible schedule and is looking for approximately 20 hours per week. This position would help provide an extra pair of hands most weekday mornings, to fill in for a few hours on a busy afternoon, or provide occasional weekend relief to our other part-timer! Great place to work with many perks, especially if you have pets of your own!

The two adult cats are already spayed/neutered and ready to go. The three kittens will go home on a foster-to-adopt contract, their neuters are booked at the end of October. All cats are fully vaccinated and have no current health issues.

Available for Adoption: Bella

Bella is a 6.5 month old female Bully/Boxer mixed breed puppy. She is a medium breed, she should mature around 55lbs. The reason she is available is that she was falsely sold to her family as a small breed puppy, but as she grew bigger, they realized she was not the right dog for their lifestyle.

Bella has done some basic obedience training and knows commands like sit & down, but needs someone committed to learning to practice with her as she grows. She is very friendly and affectionate with her family, can be shy with new people. She does some submissive piddling and does best with positive reinforcement training and lots of praise.

She is fully vaccinated and will be adopted out on condition to spay her. She is used to baths and nail trims, and is crate trained. She may still have accidents in the house if you aren't monitoring her as she is still a puppy, but if you are on top of letting her out she does very well.

She plays well with other dogs as long as she has space and time to take breaks and not get too overstimulated. She has been living with cats and is a little rambunctious but is not predatory toward them.
