Changes happen in our bodies with age. Organs get tired. Bella's Kidneys, bladder and liver all require extra support these days. But occasionally there's a flare up.
The last few days she's been off. But with dietary changes , herbs and homeopathics combined with joy and love..she's bounced back!! ❤️🙏👍🐾

I feel closer to animals than to people. They show me who they are. It may take awhile with some. But I can trust them..they can trust me. I recognize the being that they are..I see it in their eyes and feel it in their presence. ❤️

This brand new peer-reviewed clinical review highlights emerging safety concerns around anti nerve growth factor arthritis injections like Librela and Solensia. Based on post marketing reports and clinical observations, some dogs developed unusually rapid joint deterioration after treatment, including faster than normal arthritis progression, joint instability, and even structural collapse. In certain cases, these changes appeared after just one or two injections, while others developed more gradually over time. What makes these findings concerning is that they do not resemble typical arthritis, with veterinarians reporting abnormal bone formation, bone erosion, and widespread joint damage, sometimes affecting joints that were not previously identified as diseased. The review suggests a possible biological explanation, noting that nerve growth factor plays a role not only in pain signaling but also in maintaining joint health, meaning blocking it could interfere with the joint’s ability to adapt or repair. While these observations do not prove causation, they raise important questions and highlight the need for careful monitoring and further research.

Meet Bella Marshmella..the Boop! She's 20 years old and full of life.
I keep her clean. ..meaning..
She's an indoor cat 99 % of the time. No flea or tick meds/ last vaccines were 8 years ago because she had siblings who were outdoors.
I dont use any chemicals to clean with in my house

Scientists have uncovered a potential explanation for why some dogs experience seizures and other neurological issues after taking common flea and tick medications like Bravecto, NexGard, Credelio, Simparica, and Revolution. Real-world reports show that certain dogs, especially puppies, older dogs, or those with genetic vulnerabilities, can develop tremors, seizures, or other nervous system problems. The study suggests that these drugs may reach the brain through a “back door” pathway called centripetal (retrograde) axonal transport, bypassing the usual protective blood brain barrier. Additionally, certain chemical additives in the medications, such as PFAS compounds, may increase this risk by helping the drugs enter nerve cells or acting as neurotoxic agents themselves. Overall, this research highlights a previously underappreciated nerve pathway that could explain why some dogs are more susceptible to neurological side effects from flea and tick treatments.
