🐾 BIG NEWS FOR LOCAL PUPS! 🐾

I’ve heard from many clients who are worried about me stepping back from grooming in September—especially with so few local options for large dogs. While we don’t have an immediate solution, we do have an exciting plan for the future!

I’m excited to announce that I’ll be training Brandy, owner of Unity Canine Campground, in dog grooming. Brandy already has extensive experience with animals, bathing, nail care, and light trimming. She also has a great eye for shape and balance and a genuine interest in learning the art of grooming.

Training will be gradual and carefully supervised, with no firm takeover date or rushed timeline. Brandy will build her skills and confidence at a pace that puts every dog’s safety and comfort first.

⚠️ This is a look ahead, not a booking announcement. We are not accepting additional grooming clients at this time. If your dog needs grooming in the meantime, please explore other groomers in the surrounding area.

While this won’t fill the gap right away, it’s an exciting first step toward keeping grooming available for local dogs in the future. Please join me in cheering Brandy on as she begins this journey! ❤️🐾

A little Wiggles & Whiskers update!

Starting September 1st, I’ll be heading back to work full-time!

The last few months have been incredibly difficult for my family, and I can’t thank my clients enough for the patience, flexibility and kindness you showed me through all of it. It truly meant so much.

Having to slow down gave me a lot of time to think about what I want going forward, both personally and with Wiggles & Whiskers. I’ve decided to return to full-time work while continuing to groom on a limited schedule, and I’m really excited to see what this new balance looks like.

I’ll continue grooming on select Saturdays each month for a limited number of my existing clients. I won’t be reopening online booking or accepting new clients at this time. Appointments will be managed directly with the clients I’m able to continue seeing.

Wiggles & Whiskers has been part of my life for six years now, from the pet store to grooming and everything in between. So many of you have stuck with me through every version of this little business, and I’m incredibly grateful for that.

This isn’t goodbye — just a change that will make grooming more sustainable for me and help keep it a calm, comfortable experience for your pups.

Thank you for six years of supporting Wiggles & Whiskers, trusting me with your pups, and especially for the kindness you’ve shown me and my family this year. ❤️

Here’s to slowing down a little... and still spoiling some pups along the way. 💕

We are so thankful to Paula and Parkview Place for continuing the fundraiser after Jess’ passing. We hope you’ll come and share some happy memories or just have some fun playing bingo.

It is with profound sadness that we carry on with our Community BINGO and Philippine Feast Supper fundraiser to support Jess’ Family at this time. Approximately 40 tickets still available for dine-in or takeout.

My sister passed away peacefully this afternoon. She wasn't in pain and she went calmly. I will be taking the rest of the month off to be with my family. Bookings will recommence in September. Thank you to my friend Brandy for giving her a send off all the way from Victoria.

BOOKING UPDATE

As my sister’s illness progresses, she needs more support and our days have become increasingly unpredictable. I’ve already had to cancel or move several appointments, and I don’t want to continue booking ahead when I’m unsure what each day will bring.

To avoid causing any further inconvenience, I’ve temporarily closed my books and turned off online booking. For now, I’ll only be accepting appointment requests from a limited number of established recurring clients. Please understand that availability cannot be guaranteed and appointments may still need to be changed or cancelled at the last minute.

Established recurring clients can request an appointment by calling or texting 306-393-1079, or by messaging me here or on Instagram. I’ll also post any additional openings as they become available.

If you already have an appointment booked, you don’t need to do anything. I’ll contact you directly if it needs to be rescheduled or cancelled.

If you need another grooming option in the meantime, you can try Theresa Poschenrieder in Unity for dogs under 30 lbs or in North Battleford.

For baths and nail trims, you can also contact . She doesn’t offer full grooming, but she can often get your pup in fairly quickly for a freshen-up.
