Hi Kari,
I wanted to give you a little update on how Sassy has been doing since joining our family.
It's been three weeks already, and I honestly still can't believe that I chose the smartest, sweetest little cat just by following my intuition. But deep in my heart, I know it wasn't just a coincidence. I truly believe she was an answer to my prayers.
Before bringing Sassy home, I had been struggling with the decision to get a cat for over a year. I've always loved cats, and my children had asked for one countless times, but we had so many concerns.
Both the kids and I have allergies, and I was especially worried about a kitten crying at night and disturbing everyone's sleep. I was also concerned about scratched furniture, a messy house, and all the little challenges that might come with having a cat.
But then Sassy came into our lives, and all those worries just melted away.
She has the gentlest personality! The girls can pick her up and cuddle her whenever they want, and she has never once tried to hurt them.
During the first few nights, when we left her alone in the living room to sleep, she would meow for less than five minutes. That was it! Now she's completely used to our routine. She either happily entertains herself in the living room or quietly waits outside our bedroom door.
And every morning, when she sees us wake up, she gets SO excited! She rubs her little face all over mine, purring away as if she's telling me how much she missed us overnight.
She's such a little cuddle bug!
There's absolutely nothing aloof or shy about her. She follows me everywhere I go. When I'm working, she simply curls up on my desk and quietly keeps me company. It's honestly the sweetest thing.
She has completely melted our hearts.
Our whole family is absolutely in love with her. Even my husband has started waking up at 5 a.m. just to spend some time cuddling her, because during the day, everyone else is competing for her attention! Hahaha!
I just wanted to share all of this with you and say a heartfelt thank you for raising such a wonderful little kitten.
Sassy has brought so much love, laughter, and happiness into our home. We couldn't have asked for a better little companion.
