The final quarter of the year...
Time to fill in all those blank spaces.

Truthfully, I don't think entrepreneurs ever really concentrate on the next 3 to 4 months. Our over active brains are always on overdrive... Planning, organizing for the next 12 to 14 months... Even years ahead of where we are at this point in time.

I thought 2025 was going to break me and my small business. 2 postal strikes, never ending tariff changes, shipping challenges...

But here I am staring at the calendar that will bring Hestaband to it's 6th anniversary.

Some hats are more than just hats. 🎩

I designed this particular hat to wear at the Dubai World Cup over 20 years ago.

It’s been sitting in my closet all these years, waiting for the right occasion. Apparently, that occasion was a portrait with Bruno. 😂🐾

Looking at this photo, I’m reminded of how many hats we wear as entrepreneurs.

Over the years, I’ve been the visionary, strategist, salesperson, marketer, problem-solver, cheerleader, decision-maker—and occasionally, the person wondering what on earth I signed up for.

The hats change.
The challenges change.
We change.

But some things stay with us.

The experiences.
The lessons.
The memories.
And, if we’re lucky, the people, the dogs and the horses who come along for the ride.

Twenty years ago, I could never have known where the journey would take me—or how many hats I’d collect along the way.

Here’s to the hats we’ve worn, the ones we’re wearing now, and the ones we haven’t even discovered yet.
