Stay N Play Canine Centre The full service canine facility located in the Truro Industrial Park. Doggy Daycare, boarding, training, agility, & Home of Shear Heaven Dog Grooming.

We are your full service pet facility, conveniently located in the Truro Industrial park. Some of the services we offer are daycare, boarding, competitive rally and obedience classes, puppy and manners obedience classes, as well as agility classes. The facility is available for rental for trials, events, birthday parties and more! We proudly carry Nutisource pet food and treats. We are also the home of Shear Heaven dog grooming, that offers small and medium dog grooming, in addition to convenient drop-in toenail trimming services. We Need Your Help 💔

Wee Ones is finding itself in a very difficult position after a particularly rough month. September was filled with emergencies, and we found ourselves facing one unexpected veterinary bill after another. There was even one day when we had two emergencies at once.

As a result, we have accumulated $8,885.52 in veterinary bills.

We hate the thought of closing our doors to new intakes again, but we may have no choice. Before we can take on more dogs in need, we need to dig ourselves out of this debt and make sure we can continue providing care to the dogs already counting on us.

The reality is that approximately 3/4 of the money we raise through our fundraising events goes directly toward veterinary bills. We work hard to fundraise, but right now, we need some extra help.

📉 Donations are down more than 70% this year compared to previous years. We understand that the economy is difficult for everyone, and we are feeling that pinch too. But for a small rescue like ours, donations are what keep us going.

We considered starting a GoFundMe, but the fees take a significant portion of every donation. Instead, we’re asking our supporters to donate directly to Wee Ones so more of your money can go where it’s needed most.

☕ Could you skip the drive-thru coffee one morning and put those few dollars toward a dog instead?

If every one of our followers donated just $5, we could pay off this veterinary bill, with some left over to help us get ahead of October’s expenses.

$5 might not feel like much, but when we all come together, it can make a huge difference. 🐾
